I am kind of digging on the concept working in this space. Redland Roadhouse is decidedly country, but with a twist of swank that is kind of cool and certainly unexpected. So you walk in to this open door space and meet bales of hay and a giant mirror that is framed in antlers that have been spray painted white, which I though was super cool. Then your eye is drawn around the room to these great design elements that I’m going to call rustic modern(oxymoron?). The ceiling over the bar is painted Texas flag, there is a ginormous longhorn on the wall, and light fixtures made of beer bottles flank the dance floor(which is super tiny, not made for two-stepping, but worth it for a fun girl’s night or something along those lines). Anyhow, I thought the service was great, we only stuck around for one beer and the bar wasn’t totally slammed yet since it was still pretty early. But, it was lots of fun while it lasted and I can’t wait to go back for more!
