Pure Posh Salon

Been coming here for about 10 mo. Good service at first but but last few visits stylist got a little comfortable and messed up the color and cut.

book a tier 3 level cutter (Beth) and she did not know how to do a point cut, I told her I was not happy and she said her other client was waiting so she had another person fix it.

First time at Pure Posh and Dana was great! She listened carefully to what I wanted and looked at some pictures I brought in. She then brought my lifeless, dull, outdated hair up to date and I feel so much better: o). It has been a little hard to get it as full and cute as the day she cut/​styled it, but I’m pretty sure that’s the norm. I’ll keep trying. I also got $ 20 off since it was my first service plus a 20% off coupon for any products in the shop! Great deal.

The staff and managers here are rude, they have no clue on how to give even a decent amount of customer service. I have seriously tried to give this salon the benefit of the doug, and every single time I have gone, they fail me. I am very DISAPPOINTED in this Salon and would not refer them to anyone. They have horrible customer relations and do not care about their clients. This is just another money grabbing salon!

The hair stylist was a nice lady, but she over texturized my bangs. I was kind of upset since my bangs is the first thing people see when looking at my face… I went back to see if they could fix them, I actually spoke with the owner. There was no apology, no let me fix those for you right now or let’s schedule a future appointment to fix the bangs when they get a little longer. She stared at me with a blank face telling me if she cuts them they will be short… Hmmmmm… Does that mean you can fix them? She also stated my bangs were supposed to look the way they do since they were textured. UHhhhh. No. I have my bangs cut every fall and this was the worst cut. For her to think my bangs were cut correctly is kind of scary. Never going back again. Not because of the hairstylist, but because the owner did not handle the situation correctly. Pure Posh, you just lost not one customer but three. (My family). Thank goodness there are a lot of other salons in San Antonio.

I was applauded at the manager! Brandi is an amazing stylist. But the manager was the rudest Orrin I’ve ever come in contact with. What a shame because the salon is beautiful and I’m sure that all the stylist are wonderful. I DO NOT SUGGEST GOING THERE.

My wife and daughter use this place and I find their skills all very nice. They are informative and never over do the process. They seem to also not take forever. The prices are right around what it should be. Expect a cut and color with highlights to be around $ 185-​$ 225 with and without tip.
My daughter uses a level three stylist and my wife uses a level four. Ashton is the level three and the level four stylist, Christy Johnson, has been working there for over 7 years.
For Stone Oak I’d expect a little more in price but that’s why I like this place, it’s just under the «How Much!!!» level. Enjoy!

I had my hair done at Pure Posh salon for my wedding and was extremely disappointed. From the very beginning of the planning process the salon was very unorganized. Starting in January my bridesmaids called to book hair & makeup appointments and the girls at the front desk were not trained on how to take payments & told my bridesmaids they wouldn’t be able to book an appointment and to «keep calling back to try». They continued to call and after having to take over and talk to the owner myself, we were only given 3 stylists for both hair & makeup for 8 bridesmaids, myself, and mother of the bride.
I told Kayla to do my hair in big curls, half up half down, and slightly teased for volume. It looked like I had an unexperienced friend do my hair, not a professional who I paid $ 70 to style. Pieces of my hair weren’t even curled. Half of my bridesmaids who had another stylist hair turned out great, but everyone who had Kayla was upset. Kayla even told us «She had never experienced working with a Bride before». My frustration is that the owner set the most unexperienced person up with a Bride for the first time, to do her wedding day hair. This was the only thing about my wedding I regretted seeing pictures of it completely fallen out at the reception. I have never had anything else done at this salon, but would definitely not recommend it for your wedding.

I’ve been going to Ashton at Pure Posh for about 3 years now. I’ve loved my cut and style every time! I’ve always had a few colorings and highlights which looked awesome. I have a medium to long blonde layered cut. This salon is close to where I live, price is reasonable, and they have great hours too. I highly recommended Ashton and Pure Posh.

I was referred to Pure Posh from a friend and this establishment did not disappoint. I am very particular about my hair and have been in search of someone who can give me the results that I desire. I have been to many salons and «Master Stylists» in San Antonio and haven’t been able to find that… until today. I can not say enough good things and how pleased I am with Leti, from her professionalism and precision cutting to her listening skills and personality plus. I have found «The One» whom I can trust and feel confident in understanding my needs. If you want a precision cutter, a genius with shears, and a stylist with a knowledge of the form of art, Leti is your girl. Thank You Leti and Pure Posh for a truly amazing experience. If you mention my name as a referral you will get 20 bucks off of your first booking. I promise you, your experience at this salon will not disappoint.

Absolutely loved my angled bob by Beth. She really took her time and perfectly sculpted my cut. 5 stars for the service, but it is pretty pricey compared to what I’m used to, about double actually. Overall would recommend because I’m definitely going back for my future cuts.

I got full highlights done yesterday by Beth, and noticed the next day the back was not fully highlighted still had a lot of roots showing and it had horrible placement (if you separated my hair it looks like a five year old put highlights in)(maybe she thought I wouldn’t see the back?!) I called to see if she could throw some more in the back (even was going to pay) and I was told she felt she did enough. The manager wasn’t helpful either and kinda rude about the whole thing! Will NEVER return or refer anyone, well atleast not to Beth!

This is the only place I go back to. I’ve lived in San Antonio for over 5 years and every time I needed a good haircut, without driving forever, I go here. The prices are a little steep, but it’s your hair and worth the extra bucks.
The place is cute and trendy. I like my hair short, so finding someone that cuts short hair with a little edge is hard to find. The shampoo part of it is sooo nice. The last person that did my shampooing gave me the best scalp massage. That alone was worth the trip.

Just got a completely new do. LOVE IT! Leti is a genius with hair shears. Picasso, Van Gogh, Monet-​ish. If you make an appointment because you hear about it from reading this review, mention my name, Dianira Aluko, and you’ll get $ 20 off, and so will I, at my next appointment. How cool is that!

Have had my hair cut once before and everything looked nice. Called for follow up appt– just a trim and they only had «higher level «stylists available. Did not schedule appt because I was informed it would cost at least $ 63 for a trim! Glad stylists make money but don’t see value in the cost for just a trim. Too pricey.

LOVE this salon, the staff, and most importantly my hair stylist, Kristy! She always makes sure to ask and give her professional advice on any color/​cuts for my hair, is friendly, efficient, and reasonably priced. I always look forward to my appointments! Thanks!

Eunice has been rocking my socks for years. I have decided the hair I grow is all because of her and I just keep it washed in between visits. always a great experience coming to this salon. it is my happy place.

I was very happy with my experience at Pure Posh! Renae was my stylist and is a great job with my highlights and a trim. Sure, it was a little expensive but it was worth the price for the way it turned out.

Upon entrance the salon is decorated nicely. I love the atmosphere and the cute chandelier details.
The stylists were all friendly and very professional.
My cut turned out wonderful, but the color & highlights were nothing like I had wanted AND I was there from 10am — 2:30pm
ALL & ALL make sure you explain thoroughly. Ask about charges while your in the chair, before, during and after. (because I was charged extra for requesting she lighten a highlight so it would be the color I had asked for) She charged me extra for and did not inform me it would cost double.
I was not happy with my end results or the price. I will not be returning.

Walked by on a whim and went home to make an appointment after stopping in to check it out. The receptionist was very nice and helpful with my aunts questions. I got a hair cut and color with Kim who is extremely nice and I am so pleased with how my hair came out. I got a trim because I am trying to grow my hair out, dyed it a red/​brown color (Kim added a bit extra of the red which I love!) and I decided I wanted ombré tips so she went ahead and did that as well. I don’t trust many people with my hair because I have had plenty of awful experiences but she did such an amazing job. She’s very sweet and down to earth. I highly recommend this salon as well as Kim! I already can’t wait to go back for my next appointment.
