Marriott Hotels Resorts Suites

My experience with this hotel is very limited. I had booked my room for a convention 2 months in advance. The location was supurb, right on the river walk and connected to a mall. A short walking distance to the convention center. Prime location. Word to the wise, do not park with the hotel, it will cost $ 25, $ 33 for valet. Park in the parking garage just to the south of the hotel for $ 8 a day. The lobby was busing and incredibly nice. The front desk was extremely courteous. This is where my experience ends as they had overbooked and were directing me to another Marriott. I was a little disappointed that I was not notified in advance that I was being moved. I had checked my email and phone messages less than 1 hour to my arrival and I had absolutely no notification. So I had to get my car out of parking, have my money refunded and drive over to a Marriott about 6 blocks away. They gave me complimentary parking for the inconvenience. Would I stay here, most likely as it is a wonderful location.
