The Suicide breakfast taco is delicious! Hot, flavorful and the salsa verde on top made for a perfect start to my Sunday! Definitely worth waiting in line, and very thankful the line moved fast. I’ll definitely be back next time I am in San Antonio!

I eat here at least once a week, and usually more. The service is quick, the food is excellent and varied, and their specials are always priced well. Parking can get tricky during busy periods, but, is still usually pretty easily navigated. If you are looking for a consistently excellent place to get breakfast, barbacoa, tamales, and lunch; you really cannot go wrong with Olgita’s.

This place has the best homemade Mexican food. It’s family owned and the kitchen is spotless. Tortillas are handmade. The food is not over salted which is great. I have asked for egg whites due to health reasons and they are always happy to accommodate me. All the hot sauces are homemade. The menudo is perfect and of course they sell big red. There is a line on Sundays but it’s well worth the wait. The family here is very kind and polite. I love this place.

Great not too greasy barbacoa, fresh salsa & pico. Coffee could be better but the abuela style tortillas make it all better. Bunuelos, cold big red(no doy) and other sweets available as well. Line can get long. Limited parking(small lot, street parking also avail) and seating.

This was a huge win. The tacos were delicious, salsa was spicy and the prices were reasonable. For me, there are two determining factors in a successful breakfast taco. One, the tortilla, and these were perfect. Two, chorizo, as it can be too greasy. It’s easy to mess up either of these components. Olgitas Molino succeeded, and I will remember this place when I visit every time I visit San Antonio.

yes, go here. The ladies here have been feeding me for about 12 years in the morning. Their barbacoa n Big Red deal is perfect for a huddle at work or a family gathering. ALLTACOS here are homemade and delicious, just like moms!

It’s these type of places I can’t get enough of in San Antonio. Fresh homemade tortillas and salsas make their breakfast tacos hard to beat. Once again, the quaint Joel in the wall wins!

Cheap, but very bland. I guess I needed to spend the extra dollar to get lettuce, tomato, cilantro, onikn and lime to give flavor. I had a lengua and chicharon taco. The tacos were bland tasting no real flavor. Also had the carne a la mexicana plate. I’ve had a better tasting carne(steak) at other places. The best tasting item on my order was the Mexican manufactured Coke I drank. I won’t be coming back here.

I’ve been here a good amount of times to pick up tacos. Service is fast and the people who work here are very sweet. I had their Ranchero plate and it was only okay. I guess I could’ve easily made it at home. If you come here, I definitely recommend the tacos! The tortillas are soft and thick and so great. 5 stars for the tacos and service, 4 stars for the ambience and plate meal. Like other reviewers said, the barbacoa is so good.

As per usual, the hole in the wall place is faaaaaar better than any«fancy» Mexican place would be. This place has the best tamales in town, and their breakfast tacos are amazing. Their salsa verde es muy picante! Go for the barbacoa combos: 1 or 2 lbs of fresh, perfectly greasy barbacoa, tortillas, salsa, and a 2L of soda. Feed the whole family and recover from your hangover at the same time. :D

Found this obscure little Mexican food place one afternoon, and being starving, and without other possibility, stepped in here. Atmosphere is dismal and dingy. Food is nothing special: ordinary gordita, stale rice, and average frijoles. It’s fine in a pinch, but there’s better options out there if you have time! Sorry, Olgitas, wish you were better!
