Okay selection of furniture but outrageous prices. When I hit the lottery, I may go back. I have better things to do with my $ 10000. Love shopping at the Quarry though

This store is great for people who have an appreciation for furniture not typically seen in Texas. I can’t stand the traditional brown leather couches and ornate dark wood pieces that litter all of the furniture stores in this region. NEST is the alternative to this boring Texas style but it comes at a price. The telling sign that this store was going to be at the upper end, if not completely out of, my price range was when the employee working when I walked in didn’t even get up from his desk or acknowledge me. He knew immediately that it was going to be a stretch to afford these unique to Texas pieces. With that being said, the furniture was very beautiful and exceptionally made. There were no cheap materials or shoddy craftsmanship here. I was impressed. I just wish I could afford more of the pieces.

Excellent and unique and I love the service. You would think the air of pompous and aloof sales people but it’s in fact the antithesis of what they are. Treat every person who walks in like they are respected. I love love love the uniques of this store. Every time I have my haircut at avant right in the same shopping center I stop by this boutique and coterie of exclusive and different pieces. Especially refreshing in San Antonio. While I submit to the fact that it is somewhat expensive you truly get what nothing or store can offer km the city.

Great store. Lots of cool contemporary stuff. Got a cool table and chair here. Staff was very friendly. Check it out!

The service here is terrible. I entered the store, walked through it and although there were three men there(at least two were employees) nobody said a word to me.

IMHO, the people who have complained about price didn’t recognize this store for what it is. If you want DESIGNER furniture and quality, the prices are well worth it. They don’t carry imitations — this is the real deal. They have many options and are more affordable than Design With Reach, for example. Of course it’s more expensive than West Elm or Copenhagen, but this is not poorly made, trendy imitations.

Great selection, and probably something that’s not done very often in San Antonio. Excellent service, and very accomodating to my shipping request. My only criticism was the knowledge of the staff. While admiring a replica of an Eames chair they were selling at a fraction of the cost and saying something to the tune of, «Ooh, this is a great knock-off,» the sales associate responded something like, «Knock-off of what?» This store serves a great purpose of selling furniture that still looks great at a fraction of the price of the actual designer furniture, but at least have some knowledge of who you’re knocking off.

I appreciate a manager from NEST responding to my post, because of this, I will reconsider visiting the store again.

At last! A furniture store in south central Texas with an eye towards mid-century modern design. NEST doesn’t sell disposable pieces. If you are looking for particle board, this isn’t the place to find it. Quality is king in this stunning showroom located in the heart of San Antonio’s Quarry in Alamo Heights. Based on this retailer’s track record in Austin, I’d say that, by and large, this store should be a hit with high-end furniture lovers.
