I love the quality of Pottery Barn’s products, however the customer service at this particular location is less than satisfactory. I only give three stars because Lane was nice enough to acknowledge me and follow through with making sure my needs were met. The rest of the staff could learn a thing or two from her. I’ll be making future purchases at an alternative location or online.

It’s never fun when you’re in a beautiful store that sells beautiful things when you have to deal with poor customer service. It’s just not. Plus, it’s Christmas — shouldn’t everyone be cheery and fun? I’d give them the benefit-of-the-doubt if I was here on a weekend or like, the day before Christmas, but literally, it’s Friday afternoon with plenty of open parking spots and not many people in the store. I think it’s alright to be nice. I arrived here after calling in to have something put on hold for me. I, unfortunately, came by two days after the fact, so I understand that they didn’t keep the items on hold, but they also can be nicer about letting me know that. Then, as I’m shopping from a friend’s wedding registry, I ask if they could just tell me which items they have in stock and I could purchase those. Nope. They said, «well, it’s a lot of items, so could you just tell us what you want?» Yes, yes I can. I just don’t know if you have the items in stock, so it’s a little difficult to really want something I may not be able to have at the end of the day. Then, as the lady was helping me, she randomly left to go search for something and I had another lady help me. I could tell this lady was trying to be nice, but it was too obvious that she has to try. I stayed cool and thanked her for her help. Once I asked for one of the items, the stocker brought them out — a large set of white bowls WITHOUT a box. Uhm… How exactly am I supposed to get that wrapped and, more importantly, leave from here? After the last item was brought, I asked if all items could be wrapped. The lady said, «do you want this wrapped, too?» pointing to the already wrapped frame. I responded no. Then, I paid for my items and I was told, «I’m going to have to help the rest of these people so you’ll have to wait.» Hey, that’s all good with me, but just be nice Now, as I wait here, I knew I had to write a review for this particular location. There’s a location at La Cantera where a representative stayed on the phone with me to see what items from the registry was available at that location, then this location that seems to have an attitude with other customers, as well. P. S. It took about 45 minutes for them to wrap the present. AND, I was the only one they were wrapping for…

A nice clean shop with little customer service. What struck me about this place when comparing it to other Pottery Barns is that they didn’t seem to less stock or less selections than the other chains I’ve been to.

Great items. Love everything but I’ve been in here multiple times and cannot get over the poor customer service.

What can I say? It’s Pottery Barn! I so love the style, furniture & accessories & this store is so big it has plenty on display. The staff was very friendly and helpful, one of the staff took my information with detailed information of what I was in search of. Only downfall… well, it is Pottery Barn! I can’t afford most of the stuff I love! Bummer :(

Wow, this is a big Pottery Barn. So that’s great news for some, hell if you’re on purse holding duty. Compared to the average mall Pottery Barn, this place has more displays, more counters, and more just plain stuff. The large windows give things a nice natural light effect which makes it look a lot more like home. The only complaint is there are usually some lurkers who have nothing better to do than find the perfect butter dish for their vacation house out in Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Sadly, they suck down so much time that it can be hard to get service for us peons who have scrimped and saved for months just to get a scented candle.
