After reading good reviews I decided to try this place for lunch today, and drove all the way only to find it closed after their listed opening hour at 11:30AM. Although the door indicated an 11AM opening hour, there was not a soul inside like preparing to open up anytime soon and no one answered my call. If an unforeseen problem caused a late opening, at least a note on the door would have been the right thing to do. Bottom line, crummy way to run a business, I obviously won’t come back.

They appear to be out of business. Sounds like they were having issues recently. Closed till further notice.

I am not sure what to say about this place. I wanted to like it. This place was close to the house and extremely cute. The service was a definite 10. Thank you. The mini tacos I had was okay… rice and beans were not good. Price was good. Menu, a little confusing.

First visit to this restaurant and I have mixed feelings. The restaurant has a nice ambience to it but I don’t think their AC was working very well. Was sweating for the most part the whole time we were there. Not sure if they have a full staff. No one was there to greet or sit us and it took at least more then half an hour to be checked on. We would have to walk up to the bar ourselves to ask for water refills. However, the food was by far delicious and fresh. Hence my mixed feelings. Not sure if I’d recommend this place to others if the service we got would happen to you. But if you like waiting upon waiting for pretty tasty food then please try!

Service is not what it is all cracked up to be. They even mess up a simple thing like flan. The business could be so much more if they had a a more inviting environment. I’m confused if this is a restaurant or a sports bar. That’s a big deal because this place is never open at dinner time. Big tip here is you more than likely will need some proficiency in speaking Spanish as more than half the staff is not bilingual or primary speaks Spanish.

The shrimp aquachile was OUTSTANDING as was the shrimp avocado tartare. Where they lost a star was with the traditional shrimp ceviche. The shrimp in this dish had a foul aftertaste. Out group of seven all agreed. Otherwise we loved it. We were pleasantly surprised by the wine selections too.

We had driven many times by this place and finally decided to check it out. It’s located in a corner of a strip mall so it doesn’t really stand out. We went on a Friday night and it was pretty dead inside. The service was good. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. We were seated immediately and there wasn’t much down time between ordering. The menu is purely seafood. They also have a decent beer selection. I ordered the Taco Gobernador which has shrimp and Oaxaca cheese on the inside– it was pretty amazing. Good flavor. Would totally come back to try something different. They also had a live band come in and play Spanish music– would have been good if more people were at the restaurant

Great service, although not many people there on Wednesday night. The shrimp ceviche was off the hook, fresh and delicious. Tried my buddy’s octopus & shrimp ceviche and it was equally yummy. Had the fish tempura taco and shrimp taco where the shrimp was stuffed in a green chile in the taco shell. It was all amazing and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. Support this business, they’re making great food!

Delicious ceviche! Had the tropical fish ceviche and it was amazing. A very large portion. I made about 4 or 5 tostadas. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They were sincerely kind. It was my birthday so I also got some awesome churros at the end. Will definitely return!

I decided to wait until my 2nd visit to post a review. It’s great ceviche. The service is mediocre, and the ambiance is also lacking, but it’s the best ceviche I’ve had in years. They also have great Spanish music playing in the background. The prices are steep, but that’s the way it is with most seafood places. That stuff does not come cheap. There are so many varieties of ceviche. When I go with a few more people, I’m going to order their sampler. You get to pick 5 different types of their ceviche. It’s worth a try.

How did I not write a review of this place immediately?! Some of the best seafood in San Antonio. When I saw the pictures of the interior I thought it would be overly kitschy, but it actually works in person — I love the picnic tables indoors. We let our server direct us and his recommendations were spot on with the Tostada«Muelle» and the El Muelle Seafood Ceviche. Yes, some of the dishes are a little pricy. Yes, they are 100% worth it(and very filling!). The seafood was so fresh and treated properly, with tender octopus and shrimp, flavorful fish, and succulent oysters. Service was knowledgeable and outstanding and the menu extensive so between the two and the obvious mastery of seafood, you’re sure to walk away wowed.

I loved this place… Had a shrimp aguachile(green habanero sauce) delish. Also tried a gobernador taco and shrimp zarandeados both were to die for, true pacific flavor. Our waitress was always attentive to our table, good service overall.

I had some fun here but the seafood on the menu needs to offer more grilled fish dishes. So many of the plates had the seafood smothered in some sort of sauce — nice it that’s your thing, but I was feeling like something a bit more healthy that day. A little pricey but I may go back and give it another try. At least the place is lively and fun.

I was lost when I first started looking at the menu but the waitress was very helpful and my enchiladas, vegetables, and cilantro rice were delicious. The salsa they brought out was great too. My kids loved the grilled shrimp. I can’t wait to bring my husband here.

I was in San Antonio visiting and catching up with friends. I met my friend for dinner and she told me about this place that her and her husband are huge fans of! She said they had awesome fish tacos! I was sold. This restaurant is in Stone Oak. It’s in a newer area of developing strip malls. When you walk in your are whisked away to a beach type environment. There was a kayak setup when you walk on with beers on ice. I thought that was great idea for functionality and décor. Our server was really friendly and attentive. We ordered draft beers, 2 tacos each and an order of tostones to share. I got one fish and one shrimp taco. My friend had the shrimp and beef. Well at least I think that’s what we got… Don’t get me wrong everything so so delicious. Darn it I knew I should have written this review sooner. If I had a menu to look at it would jog my memory. Oh well. Anyways… Our tacos and tostones came out all at the same time so we had a feast in front of us. Tacos were flavorful and had great accompaniments in the tacos. The tostones were just the right amount of crispy on the outside and then warm and soft on the inside. There was some kind of dipping sauce that came with it. I can’t remember exactly what it was but it was a great garlic, buttery taste. Another great thing about this place is that is super friendly on the budget. For the 2 of us with 2 beers it was like $ 30 give or take. That’s a freaking steal! Yummy and cheap! Done and done. Too bad I don’t live in San Antonio anymore or else I would hit up this place often. Next time I’m in town I may have to go back and try out more items on their menu.

This was by far one of the best meals I have had in San Antonio. The service was great, atmosphere is quirky & the food was on point. We had the seafood ceviche & it was fresh & amazing! Great place to watch the World Cup.

Great food. Loved their ‘tostones’(fried plantains). Better service.
