If I could give this place 0, I would. Horrible service. Staff argued with me and didn’t get my order right.

Terrible experience. They forgot my spicy chicken sandwich and two BBQ sauces. I noticed after I went home and turned around and went back to go get what they had forgot. They still managed to forget something! They didn’t even know the policy of satisfying an angry customer, you always give them what they want and give them something extra, they seemed confused when I told them that. When I got home to eat the food it was cold and dissatisfying. Never going to eat there again.

I’ve previously shared my experience of how they totally messed up our order, we called, and were told to come back to get it redeemed. Then when we get there we were told we couldn’t be helped and they didn’t know who we spoke to. And at night they are open and usually won’t even take orders past 12 o clock. It’s ridiculous. Go to some of the other Mcdonald’s down the road not this one. Like another poster mentioned, this place is consistently bad, and I’m talking about for two years that I’ve known about it.

Let’s just say the food isn’t the problem here. It’s the people at the location that make it such a horrible experience and quite frankly they make you never want to come back. From the rude people that ask you why you come here so often, as if it were a bad thing, to the others that just don’t give a darn who you are. But that’s alright they get the order right eventually after spending 10+ minutes ordering a simple meal. Who knew a double cheese burger with medium fries and a come would be so complicated?

it is just a place for me to stop when I am over at the walmart in that area. I don’t really care for this type of food, but the service is always amazing…

I agree with the previous review saying this place is consistent. Sadly tho, its only consistency is screwing up your order and providing a less than enjoyable experience.
Where to begin: first off-​the order taker wasn’t just unfriendly. She was flat out rude. Then manages to ring up only part of my order allowing me the opportunity to wait in line again and then be subjected to said rudeness a second time. (oh joy).
Following a less than desirable wait time I am greeted with my order: a cheeseburger happy meal with no meat. But upon opening it discover oh-​not only is there no meat (kudos on getting this right) there’s also no cheese (wag of the finger).
I again get a chance to visit my new BFF at the counter with my screwed up order. Now while they DID correct this mistake, they spent the time remaking my order blaming one another and joking as to who’s fault it was. Maybe I have no sense of humor as I failed to see the humor. Or maybe I just missed the punchline. Oh right, I’m the punchline.
All in all, suffice it to say I shan’t be returning Austin Highway McD’s. Any one of these issues alone might have been over looked. But all together? Say it with me folks: Unforgivable.

McDonald’s is the king on consistent experiences.
A sanctuary to those who are afraid of trying new adventures.
They do what they do and do that with an excellent margin.

This is the WORST McDonald’s EVER. I was hoping the new owners would bring improvement but it has only gotten worse. The only employees that offer good customer service work in the morning. We rarely get our order correct. If it is correct, the food is horrible. We went there a couple of weeks ago and we could not even eat the food. The buns were hard as if the food had been sitting out for a while. We used to be able to get ONLY the drink large on a value meal but the new owners put a stop to that. This is the closest location to where I live but I am going to the one on Broadway, it is worth the drive to ensure great customer service and good food.

While I think writing a review for McDonald’s is unnecessary since they’re on every corner, I felt compelled to share my terrible experience on my last and final visit here. I rarely frequent this chain, but out of convenience I occasionally find myself here for a quick meal/​snack.
It seems things only get worse, so much that I am actually concerned for my safety here. The service is terrible and you can tell the employees don’t care at all (leaving me to wonder on their sanitation practices). My sister asked for some sort of lemonade only to be given a surly response by the «manager» that the machine was on the fritz and she didn’t feel like dealing with it. Mind you she could’ve easily said it’s out of service and she would’ve asked for something else. However she attempted to make it work I assume and ended up squirting my mom and sister with water (I hope) all over their clothes. I’m not even kidding, this is like some horror story you hear from other people and say no way that can be true. Well it is unfortunately.
Long (er) story short, the «manager» definitely did not handle the situation with finesse only making tempers rise. We left empty handed and so disturbed we will probably never visit any McDonald’s ever again.

Southwest salad was crappy today. They put some sort of Italian dressing on the chicken, which was gross and the lettuce had too much of the yucky end pieces in it. Also ordered plain kids burgers and couldn’t even get that right either.

If you haven’t tried the coffee at McDonald’s yet, you don’t know what you’re missing! The coffee is fresh and the price is right! I typically drink mine black, but I occasionally get vanilla syrup added. You can customize your order by asking for less syrup if you’re like me and don’t like it too sweet. My daughter loves the iced coffee. It’s cheap enough that I don’t mind splurging for it occasionally.
