It’s a dance club. I’m not sure what to expect. Music was good. Mostly 90s pop and hip hop, which I liked. Floor was sticky. Environment was okay. Parking… difficult but we walked. Wasn’t hard to get the bartender to help us. …overall, okay.

DJ on the second floor had me pulling my hairs out. Seriously! Michael Jackson followed by 50 cent followed by fergie and… Back to MJ. WTF?

Cover charge to get into an empty dance floor with 4 people. Bartender who did not know the price of drinks nor the ingredients of the drinks on the board. Music was ok and all over the place seriously just put on Spotify and it will get the job done.
We ordered a round of Hurricanes which cost $ 10 each. Poorly made in a small plastic cup and I am sure was not the proper Hurricane mix ingredients. DAFUQ is going on here? I think this place has potential if it stick with some theme nights and the music follows this theme. Don’t charge a cover when the party is not lit and hire bartenders who can mix drinks. Finally don’t charge $ 10 unless it’s a well prepared Long Island Ice Tea.

Paid cover and went into this multi story venue they must count on tourists to make money as they don’t seem to be that nice of a location to bring locals in time and time again .
IE the grandpa type person taking a nap in the mens room …
bar staff were professional and when you were able to get their attention service was good
smoking does happen in the back area where the elevator is .
the house dancers seem hit and miss on attitude and dance styles mainly they stand their and repeat the same dance moves over and over
they seem to randomly create VIP areas (like in the middle of the dance floor) which really creates traffic problems
some of the people inside the club were a bit sketchy looking and I would not leave any females alone for any reason
The Bouncer /​security staff are rude as hell. for instance at closing time while one of our group was in the ladies room we were all standing around the exit waiting for her when security got verbally abusive with us. (not a good idea) and it almost become a physical fight when he did not accept our as soon she walks out of the bathroom we are gone and we are standing next to the stairs answer…

Paid cover every night I went there, even on non-​event nights. Actually, I only went there twice because… What I absolutely CAN’T STAND THE MOST is that this is TEXAS and these idiots DON’T HAVE AIR CONDITIONING!
Yea, that’s what I want to do, stand inside a hot club surrounded by sweaty people when it’s 100 degrees. Unbelievable.

This was the old polyesters club – they made some great changes as far as décor. It’s nice having the patio to sit outside and relax or just to get away from the crowd. The drinks were reasonable and the shots were a great price, $ 1.50. We ended up buying the $ 30 for $ 50 voucher on Unilocal for drinks. Some of the bartenders didn’t know how to use it but I found one that did and everyone in my party was able to use their own without any problems. The music was great from 90s to today’s… Will definitely go back to this club since we’re so limited as far as dance clubs in San Antonio

Meh. This place is overrated. Expensive drinks with bartenders who ignore you. Also, that free cocktail at checkin. Everyone will just look at you like you are crazy. They have no idea what it is. I had to run around to find a bartender who would honor it. We paid for VIP which isn’t very VIP at all and they wouldn’t even let our friends join us. The music is okay, and it is three levels.

Weak sauce so weak the sauce was weak. I came last week and thought it’d be fun, got a lil drunk ordered fries just some. Boooooo gtfo and give my n word his ID back man smh

This place is so bad not fun at all. Lacks the environment that you’re trying to look for when you go out to drink. The bouncers are not nice

The venue is nice. Dj sucks so bad though. Plays alot of 80s hip pop and and well in my opinion I’m 22 and oldies hip pop sucks. Needs better choice of music something more modern like and up beat. When it comes to drinks its like playing a game of chance. Sometimes they are on point other times they are just horrible. A lot of people complain about the prices which I could care less but at least if the prices are going to be high let that reflect on your drinks and service. All and all this place needs some changes.

We had a good time here. Its a nightclub atmosphere and get busy later in the night. It located on the riverwalk so there is a ton to do and see in the area. I would check it out if your in the area

Pretty fun place. There’s no cover, and it’s right near the River Walk. They have a full bar, but drinks are pricey ($ 6 for a Dos Equis?!). However, if you check-​in on Unilocal you get 1 free cocktail! (The most exciting part of the night)
The music is a bit different; they have a strange mix of EDM, Remixed top 40, Old –timey songs like the YMCA, and Salsa music that sometimes gets remixed and turned into EDM salsa. The crowd is a wide range, from tourists to native San Antonians, and ranging in age from 21-​mid-​40s. The average age seemed to hover around 30s. There are also two go-​go dancers that dance the whole night up on stage without stopping, which is pretty impressive.
Overall, a great place to dance, but kind of pricey and sometimes strange music plays.

Struggling to find its brand, Kremlin lives in the awkward stages of a young and old crowd. While the music is subpar, the drinks are above average. Albeit prices are on the higher side for a club/​bar that boasts drinks specials.

Terrible… Would not waste your time. They were rude and I felt very offended with how they treated my family. We were told to visit this place by our water taxi and to find out how rude there they was a big surprise.

This place sucks due to their bouncer staff being ass’s!

Very unimpressed. Service was horrendous. I highly advise you skip this bar. Our experience was that disappointing, I decided to write this review. Of all the bars Ive been to throughout Canada and the United States. This was the worst bar I’ve been ever been too.

I go here only on First Friday Pub Runs. And it’s crap. They prices are absolutely horrendous and if you are in a huge group with First Friday people but aren’t dressed up in the «theme» then you have to pay the cover charge. We had a group of 20 people last night, and 5 of us weren’t dressed up (because of various reasons, I had just come from a concert, other people had come from work/​school). So they made us pay cover charges of $ 10 for staying for one drink. I didn’t want to go in, but out friend/​group leader was super nice and paid all our cover charge for us. Next time though, I say we just skip it.
The beers are $ 5+, and for each swipe of your card, you pay $ 1.50. Their beer choices are horrendous, Bud, Coors, Heineken, Shiner. It’s always super crowded, and maybe it’s my age talking, but I have no want to be humped by random people, or see these teenage girls vomiting/​falling over in the women’s bathroom every time I go in.
They have two floors, one of which is Rap/​Top 40s and the 3^rd floor is electronic and EBM and seizure\jump up and down forever music.
If you check in on Unilocal you get a free drink, but most of the waiters/​waitresses won’t know what to do with it when you show them and then make you something really disgusting so you don’t even want to drink it after they get a manager to come over and say it’s really a true offer.

Sadly this is where I go to for anything sounding like house/​EDM music (w/​out a live performer).
Here are my probs:
1) the playlist is the same EVERY Friday. Don’t believe me? Talk to the guys working there. They vouch.
2). I’m not saying I’m a go go dancer but I take less breaks than the gurls who work there and do less jumping. Yeah I’m judging. Ya hiring an average sized Asian? I have my own furry boots I’ve yet to break loose…
3). The amount of creepers is insurmountable. Girls, beware. But if you’re remotely decent looking the staff might ask you to hang out in a corner. I mean VIP. No thanks, playa!
4) Salsa. Good for chips. Not my favorite to dance to.
This is a decent spot on the pub run because they open up the second level and they never charge my group (think it’s standard not to on First Fri. Beyond that, $ 5 for entry no matter if you’re a chic or not — dumb. But… I know what I’m getting into :/

Wasn’t this place Polyester’s? I need to get down to San Antonio more often.

Depends on what you’re looking for. Unfortunately, I lived in Vegas for 5 years and have seen the pinnacle of club life. Kremlin is better than previous tries, but it doesn’t make me anxious to come back. It was cool, but the DJ was mostly playing a playlist until midnight and the go-​go dancers were the only thing trying to get the party started.
I do like that locals and military are free, but mixed drinkers were weak and inconsistent. We’ll see what happens in the future.
