Jimmy John’s

So I go to Jimmy johns and ask for my sandwich with peppers ON THE SIDE. .the cashier says ^ you can’t have peppers on the side”…wtf is that kind of rule???
Oh well sandwich was good. …CHANGE YOUR POLICY… GEEZ

Have been here a few times and always have consistent good food and is super fast, just like the advertise. Went in yesterday around 3pm, which is a kind of in between time so they were slower. They had our sandwiches completed by the time we finished paying. Another thing I appreciate is that since they weren’t busy there were several employees cleaning. I don’t just mean wiping tables off, I mean cleaning windows, wiping of chairs and tables, these place was spotless. As a customer I truly appreciate that bc how many times have you gone to a fast food joint and here isn’t a clean table in the place? You either end up wiping it off yourself or you just deal with it. Anyways, good place and great team working there. We will definitely be back.

Today 11÷14÷15 I went in 15 minutes before closing. There was no one in the restaurant dining. The place was spotless and they were cleaning the food prep area. Nothing was put away yet but you can tell they had a slow end of the day so they were prepping to close at 10pm.
I have worked in the food industry so I remember what it’s like to have people walk in right before we close. I felt bad that I was making them get everything dirty right after it was cleaned. So I told them I could leave.
Nope…they were awesome. They welcomed me right in there. Their customer service was amazing. They were friendly. They reassured me that serving me right before closing was perfectly fine. They close at 10pm. They made my sandwich quick just as promised.
They told me to come on back. I said I will but earlier. They smiled and told me the same time would be fine.
Customer service is a dying breed as I always say so when I get great customer service I want to share it with Unilocal

Personally, who does not like a fast cheap, semi healthy sandwich? I walked in after not having breakfast or lunch and I feel completely satisfied after having a bite of the #5 Vito. The cashier and sandwich constructer were very courteous and kind. Unfortunately, to qualify for military discount you must be in uniform. Your ID or CAC card are not valid… Oh well, that did not stop the good taste of my Jimmy John sandwich or the speed they take pride in!

Very helpful with my dietary needs! Well aware of cross contamination issues and avoided it for me!

I’m shocked so many people got bad customer service! I guess I go when the good staff is working LOL. Every time I’ve gone, and I’ve been eating at jimmy johns in the medical center for years– I am always greeted and told thank you when I leave! Their sandwiches are DELICIOUS and the workers are very nice and some have even checked on me while I am eating. I will say the medical center location used to tow students cars– which if you have ever been a college student, you know that sucks!!!

Actually came in yesterday and was running late so I forgot my bag of chips. Whoops! Came back today since I got guilt trips from family members that I didn’t buy them any delicious subs and mentioned it to the cashier about the forgotten chips and all I got was a «tough s***» look.
Well the chips are only $ 1.35 I think, so not worth the hassle, but what get’s me is the poor customer service. Really? You don’t even want to see my receipt from yesterday? Crazy, talk about doing the bare minimum while not encouraging people to come back. Great score on the food taste, but fail on the customer service.

My husband convinced me I’d like these sandwiches and he was correct. We went today.
This is the second time I’ve been in and the customer service is so-​so. No welcome from the cashier or even an order suggestion when I mentioned I’d never eaten there before. It’s my handout, see if they’d take the bait to be a good employee. The cashier did say good-​bye and wished for us to have a good afternoon, thanked us for coming. Cool– I’ll take that.
Anyway, he ordered the Gargantuan — his favorite and habitual order.
I got the #6 — the vegetarian sandwich. It was pretty good actually, a decent amount of «toppings»… Not a puny smushed sub. I really liked the avocado spread instead of the usually sliced avocado. I prefer their bread over Subway’s. I also like that they don’t toast subs mandatorily. It’s funny b/​c they have 8 inch subs which I’m now beyond happy about … I’m never full from a 6 inch sub from Subway and the foot longs are too much… Try saving any for leftovers and you’ve got a nasty, soggy sub. The 8 inch here is perfect for my appetite.
The store itself was clean and sandwiches are prepared in record speed. I’d easily go back and like that it’s down the street from me.

I don’t usually have sandwiches and have never been to Jimmy John’s, so decided to give it a go. I had the #11 roast beef club, think they’re $ 5.75 and honestly, I was pretty pleased and it was quite filling. Place was nice and clean, except for being out if paper towels in the restroom. Customer service was weak, they could care less if you were there or not, but they are fast, give’em that. I’ll definitely will give it another try soon, for the price and quality, much better than Subway.

Seriously? They won’t give you hot peppers on the side??? What the heck? Charge me — I don’t care– but noooooooo. Apparently it’s against the law here to actually get the sandwich the way one actually wants one.
It’s a sandwich for goodness sake not some gourmet meal!
Get real– won’t be back. Ever just based on service alone, or rather the lack of service.
