Haagen Dazs Shop

This shop closed 15 minutes early Saturday night and Sunday night and when I called the phone was busy and finally the girl comes to the door and says everyone just left. I asked if he boss knew they closed the store 15 minutes early two nights in a row and she said yes they were the ones that left. Not the way to do business!

Very nice service, Robert was super patient and provided great service! Delicious ice cream!!!
Would definitely visit here again! Second time here, all the team members were kind and responsive.

SUPER slow service. The line was at least 15 people and one guy who was working there never helped. He just stood in the back and filled containers. What a waste of an employee!

Got the white chocolate truffle and as you would expect, Haagen Dazs ice cream is always delectable.
However, there isn’t really any seating in the store (not that they have the space) so most people were sitting on the wide window ledges.
Plus, I paid like $ 4.50 or so for a single scoop small cup. I’m pretty sure I can get at least a whole pint of Haagen Dasz for that much in a supermarket…

On a terribly hot Texas day which is 359 days out of the year this was an oasis in the desert. We stopped in here for one to get some air conditioning on a recent daytrip to San Antonio but as well enjoy some good ice cream. They had plentiful options and as a Unilocaler you get a discount for checking in. Ice cream shops are usually on the more pricier side so we always get a kids portion for one because it keeps the calories down and for two you can easily spend over $ 10 on two scoops of ice cream which is ridiculous for a thrifty guy like myself

Addicted I got the Rocky Road Dazzler but ate my wife and babies ice cream love Haagen Dazs from a kid and its still a treat because it hasn’t got any cheaper but quality never does. I remember getting a bite from my moms as a kid now that I can buy everyone some man taste that much better. You can have this anytime of the day and flavor Yumm

Let’s just say I could get really great ice cream, frozen yogurt, or gelato cheaper and in better flavors somewhere else. Not to mention the line was ridiculous! Maybe because it was a hot day and the tourists were by the riverwalk and Alamo. All I know is I only have a 30 minute break for lunch and there were only 3 people in front of me and it took about 20 minutes until I got my two scoops of ice cream. I’ll pass…

I have been here multiple times since I’ve lived in San Antonio. Great place and great location.
The other day when I went with some friends, they were pretty busy and it was right before closing, but the service was painfully slow. The employees didnt seem enthusiastic with their job but I can’t blame them, they had to have been there all day and been serving people constantly because of the heat that day. I did too them because my friends and I alone were 4 separate orders. I felt really bad. The price was a little more than just a normal Baskin Robbins so that was a little disappointing.
Definitely worth stopping by if you are downtown, nice selection and tasty ice cream.

5: Amazing! I would definitely recommend to anyone. I will come back again and again!
4: This place is pretty great in my book. I will be back. It is better than just average.
3: This place is okay, average. I might come back, especially if I am in the area.
2: This place just does not hit the mark for me. Probably will not come back, unless invited or majority of my party wants to.
1: I will not come back here ever. You could not force me inside of this place. Too mediocre.

Dependably good ice cream that will leave your wallet $ 5 bucks lighter.

Ben and I stepped by Saturday night for a hot chocolate and it was very good. Not as creamy as others I have had but it was tasty. The lady that served us was very friendly and provided good customer service.
While there I looked at their selection of ice cream and I will be back when it is warmer for their dark chocolate peanut butter. Yummy sounding.
