Food is very hit or miss. Some days it’s pretty good and some days it’s dried out. Desert is usually really good. The waitresses are always nice. A restaurant has to be judged based on it’s totality, though. I’m leaving one star due to the extremely rude behavior of the manager. I have been to this restaurant several times with my family, but today saw they had posted 30.07 signs. When I told the manager I’d no longer be spending money there due to this and would be going to Peng’s Chinatown(where open carry isn’t an issue) instead, she looked like she was doing everything she could to keep from strangling me. Her lips were tightly pursed the whole time and she didn’t speak a single word, simply nodding at me like I was an idiot. When I handed her a «No guns = no $» card( ), she immediately threw it in the trash without even reading it! This is the first business I’ve ever been to that is openly hostile to OC advocates. While she has every right to run their private property as she sees fit, she seemed not to care that I also have every right to spend my money elsewhere. I’m a military vet, a father of three, a 3.9GPA honor student, and I ALWAYS tip at 20% at this place. I like to think I’m a pretty good customer to have around, but she made it extremely clear that my input as a customer is not appreciated and I am not welcome. Say what you will about open carry, but you gotta admit her disrespectful behavior is pure poison for business. I’ve destroyed my body defending the Bill of Rights, and I don’t give money to people who hand political victories over to the enemies of liberty. I’ll stick with the friendly people and superior food of Peng’s Chinatown which is only a three minute drive away.

I am not a fan of Chinese buffets, and I usually don’t write reviews about any of them, but this one is particularly bad. First, they make you prepay, as if they know that you will be so dissatisfied with your experience that they want to make sure they get your money. The food is just BAD. Steak was subpar. The food in general is bad bad BAD. I feel sorry for the waiters/waitresses that have to work there…

I went too this place cause I used to work nearby and ate lunch there a few times. At that point it was an ok place to grab a quick bite. I stopped by with my kids recently and too say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Actually disgusted might be a better phrase to use. I won’t comment on the food except to say it was bad. I’ve had bad food before but my real issue with the place was the odor in the dining room. It was as if someone had just recently pop a squat in the dining area and they decided to just let the place air out instead of cleaning it up quickly. I kid you not it smelt that bad. My sister once as a joke put one of her kids diapers under my car seat in the middle of summer, And I swear to you my car smelt better after 6 hours than this place did the day I attempted to eat there. needless to say I will not be going back and I wouldn’t recommend that you attempt to eat there either. 0 stars

Horrible food… Bad crab and bad hard boiled egg. Your better off going to The Golden Coral if you are looking for a buffet. As far as the chinese food goes, dont bother… Think of a way for a chinese dish to go wrong and more than likely that dish will still taste better than Fortune Cookie’s food!

We figured that we would try this place because we had not been here for years. There were a few things that we have noticed. The first being that you now have to prepay before eating. It seemed awkward but we were okay with it. I guess that may be because they had people walking out without paying. On with the food. The food is what you see at a typical Chinese buffet. Pepper Steak… etc. You get the picture. The food looked all gooey, like its been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The pepper steak and Mongolian beef tasted salty. They put too much soy sauce on the meat. The only thing that tasted more decent was the barbecue chicken. I went with the steam rice instead of the fried rice because it looked greasy and nasty. I did not try anything else. I lost my appetite at plate number two. As for service, the staff did come by to refill our water. They never came by to check on us, nor did they say thank you as we were leaving. I regretted prepaying for the tip. I will not be coming back.

The food is really bad. It’s like the people who are cooking it have no clue what is supposed to go on the dishes. The sauces are the wrong color and the wrong flavor. The food is not worth the belly space or the money. It’s like asking a chinese person to make mole or enchiladas without teaching them how to do it. I think the mexican cook at this joint was given a picture for instructions and then free reign of the kitchen.

WASTEOFMONEY. Typical buffet layout but the facility was dirty. The bathrooms seemed like they hadn’t been clean in months and the sitting area toward the back faced the cleaning area which was also disgusting. I couldn’t help but wonder what horrors go on in the kitchen. Luckily I didn’t really see all that until after I had eaten. Now… the food wasn’t TERRIBLE but it also wasnt great. I tried 3 different types of meats: pepper steak, mongolian beef, and bbq chicken. I wasnt able to eat the first two so I stuck with the bbq chicken. The noodles were so overcooked that it clung to my teeth in a way noodles shouldn’t so I also decided rice was the way to go. OH and their soda machine was broken so it was either water or sweet tea… which she did not bother to tell us until after we had paid. DONTBOTHER!!!

It’s just another buffet restaurant that may be owned by a Asain family and may sell a couple of items that are oriental food. For the most part, I was a typical buffet. The steak was good, but I had to stop the chef from making a burnt sarifice out of it.(medium is pink, not brown). Unless your a fan of unsweeten chocolate, stay away from the chocolate fountion. It is nice to look at by taste terrible.
