Food is very hit or miss. Some days it’s pretty good and some days it’s dried out. Desert is usually really good. The waitresses are always nice. A restaurant has to be judged based on it’s totality, though. I’m leaving one star due to the extremely rude behavior of the manager. I have been to this restaurant several times with my family, but today saw they had posted 30.07 signs. When I told the manager I’d no longer be spending money there due to this and would be going to Peng’s Chinatown(where open carry isn’t an issue) instead, she looked like she was doing everything she could to keep from strangling me. Her lips were tightly pursed the whole time and she didn’t speak a single word, simply nodding at me like I was an idiot. When I handed her a «No guns = no $» card( ), she immediately threw it in the trash without even reading it! This is the first business I’ve ever been to that is openly hostile to OC advocates. While she has every right to run their private property as she sees fit, she seemed not to care that I also have every right to spend my money elsewhere. I’m a military vet, a father of three, a 3.9GPA honor student, and I ALWAYS tip at 20% at this place. I like to think I’m a pretty good customer to have around, but she made it extremely clear that my input as a customer is not appreciated and I am not welcome. Say what you will about open carry, but you gotta admit her disrespectful behavior is pure poison for business. I’ve destroyed my body defending the Bill of Rights, and I don’t give money to people who hand political victories over to the enemies of liberty. I’ll stick with the friendly people and superior food of Peng’s Chinatown which is only a three minute drive away.

Pretty good food. Love the cream cheese rangoons and sesame chicken. They serve Chinese, American and Mexican food and have a person grilling steaks.

This was possibly the worst food in san antonio. I would never return and I would never recommend this place. So gross.

My family of three ate here today. I give it 2 stars. My husband and daughter would give it 3−½. That is why I gave it 3 stars when I would rather give it 2. It had a mix of food, more than just Chinese food. As a vegetarian, I wish things were marked better. And that the lettuce was left plain with topping to the side. Who puts croutons on the lettuce to get soggy all day? The fruit on the dessert bar was visually easy to tell it was from a can. And the desserts did not look appealing. The seating was ample. Only tables but at least they were crowded together. My favorite thing was the hand-dipped orange sherbet. My husband’s favorite was the carne asada. My daughter liked the sushi. It was ok, especially for the price, but I doubt we will go back. There just wasn’t enough food choice for me to make it worth it.

1st off I wanna say that all the people giving this establishment are numb minded. Buffets cost $ 9 nowadays so that shouldn’t be a complaint and compared to other Chinese buffets I only love this one. The chef at the steak bar is smart and cooks a mean steak. My favorite buffet in town since I was five and I’ve been all over the city scouring for a better place! I came up empty on that venture. Plus this restaurant has a lot of space so tables aren’t crammed– definitely a bonus when you plan on eating a lot and don’t wanna smell the next guy’s armpit like at other buffets. I really like the addition of fried Oreos at dessert bar 2! Best place ever

My family and I loved going to this place, unfortunately after the past few times we will not be eating there any longer. The experience and the hostess was disgusting, awful, and unsanitary.

This place is awful, I didn’t even eat the one plate I filled. I told my wife it’s like some tried to turn a golden coral into an Asian restaurant and gave up half way. My. 13 y/o said she doesn’t want to eat again… it is so bad it turned her off of food… seriously though… it’s awful.

Not horrible but will probably never go back. Food was mediocre. I had to spit out a few pieces of chicken that were almost only cartilage. Staff was friendly.

This place is over crowded. The food is okay. Some dishes, like the walnut shrimp are great, and they offer a bigger variety of desserts then most Asian buffet restaurants do. There are a variety of foods served, but most of them are mediocre at best. A lot of their food is just too greasy to enjoy. The workers are very quick to refill food, and its always hot and fresh.

I don’t know if it’s the time of day but everything is fresh here. Lots of good kid friend stuff too and a fondue chololatefall(is that a word?). Only downside is some of the shellfish isn’t as fresh as I like but it’s a buffet so I get it.

I went back this past weekend and I was slightly disappointed. Now I know that restaurants are going to have off nights but this is the 2nd time in a row where I wasn’t overly pleased with the food. First off this was a busy night, and at the height of their dinner hour so food should have been fairly fresh on the steam tables. I’ll admit that most of the food was hot, but a good portion was over cooked, even when it had JUST been put on the line. IMHO I’ll keep going back, at least for now, and hope they return to their former glory.
