Fajita Taco Place

I eat their tacos at least once a week! Their fajita tacos are GOOD but surprisingly not their specialty. My personal favorite are the Barbacoa tacos (only served on weekends) and the lengua: Both are AMAZING.
Most of tacos are cheap. All of them are good if not amazing!

I love this place. Today I had the Fideo Loco Con un té dulce grande (large Fideo with a large Sweet Tea). Umm Umm Good. LOCATION: Good. FACILITY: Good. SERVICE: Fast and Friendly. MEAL: delicioso

One of the best little places in san antonio, close to the north star mall ur gonna have the most delicious food ever the salsas are hot and lots of flavor, I tried caldo tlalpeno and it was really good the corn tortillas are really good best tacos ever

My husband and I really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. We had the special of the day which was the chile rellenos and they were delicious! The best I’ve had in SA! And the staff was very nice, they made the experience even better! Will be coming back very soon!

It is one of the best hole in the wall restaurant for delicious food and fast service! They always seem to have some deal on Groupon or Living Social, which is awesome since $ 20 there goes a long way!
I’m a big fan of their mini tacos! They give you like 6 and its always covered in asada and I always add queso blanco to it with a side of avocado! Their salsas are pretty good also! I go in sometimes and order approx. 15ish breakfast tacos for my work team and they are very fast at getting them ready.
I’ve also tried their soups, taco salad, nachos, and quesadillas and none of them were disappointing. They have a daily special and Wednesday is one of my favorites which is Chile Relleno, which is also some of co-worker’s favorite dish there.
If you’re looking for a good food on the cheap and in a hurry… this is definitely the place!

I’m a vegetarian, so there’s not too many items on the menu I can enjoy, but I really do love their bean and cheese nachos. They are tasty, simple, but tasty. Their red salsa is yummy, perfect spicy-​ness with good taste. The staff is really friendly, always attentive and nice!

I had a bean, egg & white cheese (queso blanco) with the spicy red salsa. This is a place I will come back for a sit down breakfast.

Visited on a weekday… close to work. I ordered the lunch special, wich happened to be Chicken Moe’. It was really very good. I love love love the fresh homemade corn tortillas that came with my meal! all in all a pleasant experience except that our waitress really lacked personality. I guess i can deal with that during the hustle-​bustle hours of the lunch time… the quality of the food more than made up for that. Next time, yes i will go back, it’s gonna be Caldo de Res. With those awesome corn tortillas.

Fajita Taco Place is awesome-​a hole in the wall that is not decorated to the max, but great homeade food and good service.
I have never had anything bad here-​and the bean and cheese tacos are the best in San Antonio. The owner is also very nice and very personalble and always refers to you by name… they do get quite busy as they are opened for breakfast and lunch only-​but it is SO worth the wait.

Used to go at least once a month back in 2003 and experienced delightful flavors and piping hot off the grill authentic northern Mexican flavors. My last visit was 9 – 2012 and the beans and breakfast potatoes both had a burnt flavor transparent of a too hot grill with overheated and burnt oil. The beans were both on the side AND the topping on the chalupa and were inedible. The sad part was the manager did not seem to care, never looked me in the eye, and had no apologies. I will never go back. My rating? F for the management who needs experience in customer satisfaction and retention and C for the waitress who offered me a cup of beans to take home! Keep up the great work with the tortillas, they certainly are wonderful.

Unimpressive.
This place lured me in the with the promise of a free taco from an ad I found in the paper.
It took them quite some time to realize that I had come into the restaurant, and actually was there to eat. I finally flagged down the waitress, who forgot the menu, and disappeared. I ended up hunting down my own menu without her help.
My water glass went empty, and was never refilled. Many of the tables were still covered with food and not bused after the patrons had left, so it made it difficult to find a place to sit. The table I found still had ort on it from the previous diner. It was never cleaned up.
The tacos were lackluster. They weren’t filled very fat. The ingredients looked like they had been sitting out for some time. The tortillas seemed to be made on site, but I couldn’t tell. There was nothing special about them.
I asked for salsa, and never got any. All they had was Tabasco Sauce. I found the salsa bar at the front of the place after I had paid my tab and was leaving, so I can’t comment on the quality of the salsa, just the absence of it at the tables.
It was inexpensive, especially with the coupon.
I won’t be returning.

I love little taco joints like this tucked away in strip centers in between beauty salons and dry cleaners!
Big, Fat tacos filled with quality Carne Guisada, Beans with Cheese, Potato and Egg and on and on. A salsa bar with fresh made, hot hot sauces and quick service. Cheap, delicious and right where you want it when you need it.
