I ordered and paid for a salad and came and sat down. I forgot my dressing so went up to get it and the employee snapped saying it would be 54 cents. I explained, but not even a simple apology. So i put it down and said nevermind. Sounds small, but this isnt the first rude employee at this location. I wish I could say it was a high school student, but I can’t.

On multiple occasions the chicken has been grossly dry… And sometimes I can’t hear what they’re saying very well on the drive thru window. The speaker seems old and needs replacing. Other than that they are great. Honestly some of the best carne guisada tacos in San Antonio

Ok. I’m a harsh critic of BBQ but it is Texas and BBQ should be near perfect. Is wrong to expect so much? Last time I ate at Bill Miller was long before Unilocal existed. I remembered it wasn’t great hence the long time between visits. I forgot how bad it was. I was getting my oil changed at the place next door at lunch time and it was walking distance so I said what the hell. I went with the safest bet you can get in a BBQ establishment or a place that claims to be. The chopped beef sandwich. You can hide a lot of flaws with chopped beef drowned in BBQ sauce and sandwiched between two buns. Damn it if Bill Miller BBQ didn’t screw up a chopped beef sandwich. It was reminiscent of a Sloppy Joe. Seriously. Bland beef, weak watery sauce. It was embarrassingly bad. Have these guys been using the same recipe since 1950-something? Really? The beans were edible but boring. The potato salad was down right bad. I’ve had better out of tub in the deli section at the grocery store. Loads better. I’m undecided about who serves the worst BBQ. Bill Miller or Dickey’s. They both make Rudy’s look outstanding. I mean at least Rudy’s mass produced BBQ is easily identified as BBQ. I’ve come to the conclusion that any establishment that is mass producing BBQ is doing a disservice to BBQ and some are insulting the name worse than others.

Worst BBQ I’ve ever had in my life!!! If I could give it negative stars I would. Had 4 people in my group, two of them getting their meal for free and even they said they wouldn’t ever come back. The service was good though and the employees were friendly. After coming here I was depressed for about a week because I regretted it so much.

Ate at Bill Miller’s over 10 years ago and remember it being great bbq, so on vacation with kids and decided they should get to try some great bbq. Well let’s say it’s no longer great! I apologized to my children and said I should have just taken you to McDonald’s :(Yes it is now that bad!!! My kids wouldn’t even eat more than a couple bites because of how nasty it is. I’m very sad they went so far down hill. Guess I will have to find a new bbq place in tx.

Came here last week because this place was close to my hotel. Food was ok. Told myself I’d never go back. Well today. unfortunately I went there again thinking that maybe I just went on a bad day or something. BOYWAS I WRONG!!! This is by far the worst BBQ I have ever tried! Like seriously!!! I got brisket and sausage with 3 side fixings. The lady passed me my plate over the counter and I couldn’t believe she really had the nerve to serve me slices of straight up fat. I’m so serious. They literally gave me 4 slices of pure fat. I mean there wasn’t one piece of meet on the brisket. STRAIGHT fat!!! Told them to cut me some new slices because what they gave me didn’t even look safe to eat. She told me everyone likes there brisket that way. This place is a joke. Totally disgusting. **will I be back? HELL No!!! Not even if you paid me!!!

I am not a BBQ expert but I can tell you that this place does not have good BBQ. Let’s start with the meat. It did not taste like it was smoked. I felt like I was eating ham instead of brisket or ribs. Second the sauce was sour and had no sweetness. I did appreciate the customer service the workers were very nice and accommodating. One thing I would recommend is the fried chicken it is very crispy and juicy. You might need some salt though as the breading had no seasoning.

Things to do in San Antonio The Alamo The Riverwalk The In Laws The Bonham BILLMILLER Bar-B-Q… …and not in that order. Basically when we land at the airport, we may or may not get our luggage. We may not even obey security. Sometimes we wear Depends so we can pee on the way. We are on a mission. From God. Bill Millers’ is God’s work people. And when you grow up in «tasty» Scandanavian country, where pickled herring and flatbread is considered yummy, your tummy’s gonna rumble when you see the Bill Miller sign. Brisket. Green beans with bacon. Fried potatoes. And. Yes y’all(notice the y’all…I threw that in!)…Sweet tea. Nectar my friends. Sweet nectar. So, Bill. I just wanted you to know how much I think of you when I’m home in Phoenix. We have BBQ places here you know. But they’re sooooo B-squad. Sooooo bronze metal. But you my friend Bill… well, c’mon, I wear a Depends for ya! Great prices. Amazing food. And about 32,000 locations just in San Antonio. Yee Haw!
