We love Dickies!!! Their Mac and cheese? Amazing! Their pulled pork? Amazing. Their rolls? Amazing! Their sausage? Sooo good! We just ordered catering for our mini-wedding reception and I can’t wait to dig my face in their food. Did I mention their BBQ sauce?!? Yum!

Great BBQ! Stopped in one evening by chance; so happy I did! I ordered the special, it was really good. The barbecue pork has a great flavor can’t explain it just love it. Very friendly staff and the food was out quick. I will defiantly be going back to order another meal!

I wish I could give this place zero stars however that is not a option. The food is pretty good, I like their baked potatoes and macaroni but poor customer service. Up until recently I was a regular but their manager has a poor attitude. I wasn’t given my receipt or my change but I was told I was not allowed there again by the owner. Poor people skills and bad customer services. I would recommended this place if you like headaches and bad experiences.

Pretty good place for a fast food bbq spot. Two of my friends ordered the onion tangler and it was absolutely salty. Overall it was an OK exp. NO alcohol beverages in case your looking to eat you bbq with beer.

This particular Dickey’s catered my party and it was fabulous. All my friends said how good it was. I say that because I didn;t get much to eat as I was the host of the party walking around and talking to all my guests and greeting everyone as they came in. I do eat there every so often and had brought back some to the teachers are Roosevelt High School. It was good then and it is still good. I shall return

Good but can’t order the family packs and select the same meat. Their reason: cause they can run out of brisket! That’s so funny. So you’re forced to order a la cart which doubles the cost, if you want sides and bread. The manager wouldn’t even throw in 3 rolls at $ 1.49! Kept calling me boss after every sentence, very annoying since he couldn’t do any of what I was asking! I should’ve gone to Bill Millers instead, their service is better! Got home with the brisket… It was not sliced brisket but chopped brisket. Even more annoyed. I don’t see many people there. Now I know why!

Good sandwiches for a walk in. I enjoy each of their meats and daily specials. Lots of sides. Two choices of potato salad. I think they’re definitely better than Bill Miller’s and Gradys for the quick stop menus. Overall I still go to Texas Pride fir the best in the area

Dickey’s hands down is the better quick service Barbecue spot in San Antonio. I’ve turned my whole family away from Bill Miller’s and onto Dickey’s! Everything is fresh and warm. Plus it’s so well seasoned, you can’t put the fork down. Great sides, and the two barbecue sauces served warm definitely make the meal better. Bonus is the free ice cream cones and self serve beverage bar; no being charged a whole extra dollar for a refill. Sorry Bill Miller’s! You’ve lost a family!

Just ordered a XL family packet, got pulled pork, sliced brisket, and turkey. Sides Mac and cheese, baked beans, and coleslaw. Everything was awesome. Brisket was seasoned great, not salty and not dry, pulled pork was just as awesome, all in all was a great experience. Thank you dickey’s I will return.

Absolutely the very best BBQ I have had from a Dickey’s period! The brisket melted in your mouth and the staff was amazing!

Just placed a order online and my husband went to pick it up and bring it home. Needless to say the order was wrong. Not very happy and I will probably get my BBQ fix from some place else next time. Plus the brisket is tough and very salty… NEVERAGAIN

Got the pulled pork sandwich and it was sadly a lil dry even with their BBQ sauce. Their fried okra is amazing though and of course so is their tea… Can’t have BBQ without sweet tea ;) All in all, I’ve had better but I have defiantly had much worse.

Bill miller’s is better than this place. Over priced and the portions are skimpy at best. I have had frozen dinners better than this place

Good olé’ Everyday BBQ The more I travel around, the more I learn one undeniable fact — we really do have some of the best BBQ in America in our part of the world. Now, with that said, Dickey’s is not THE best BBQ around, but its darn good. I consider Dickey’s just good olé’ everyday BBQ. And everything here is real food — no science diet stuff comes across these counters. Its quick, its easy, and compared to some of the other places in town, is actually very affordable, especially if you subscribe to their on-line newsletter(like I do) and get their specials, which they send out pretty regularly. Also, kids eat free(under 12 I think) and they ALWAYS have FREE Ice Cream(how cool is that?). Most of the locations are kinda small, but are usually comfortable and they are pretty good at getting you your food and out the door, and are always friendly. Put all these things together and you’ve got the makings of a good family night out that wont break the bank.
