I came right after they opened for breakfast and ordered tacos. They responded with words no breakfast goer should ever have to hear, «sorry sir, we dont have bacon». Not, its gonna take a bit to cook, they just didnt have any. Dont open up for breakfast if you dont have bacon. Last i checked this is america. If you support america, avoid this bill millers.

Don’t get me wrong, Bill Millers is a good place to go for a quick(cheap…er) BBQ fix. By no means is it the best BBQ you will ever have, but if I want something fast, I don’t mind Bill Millers. The reason I am giving this specific location a 2-star review is because every time we come here, at least a when we go through the drive-thru, is they mess up our order. There’s always something wrong and when we call to let them know, they just say sorry. I’m not expecting anything out of it, except for them to do a better job on getting people’s orders correct. Anyways, I still think their salad delight with turkey and ranch is the best salad out of all the fast food places I’ve been to, but that’s not worth an extra star.

Baugh, chewey brisket and soggy bread. On the bright side, food was quick, the place was relatively clean and the ice tea was decent. However $ 8 for a chewey brisket meal is too much, I’d rather pay an extra buck or two and get a melt-in-your-mouth cow carcass from any number of Texas BBQ establishments.

Ordered a bean and bacon taco with cheese, brisquet taco with cheese and asked for two hot sauces… I get bean and bacon no cheese, brisquet taco(if you can call a slice of meat in a tortilla a taco) with no cheese, and NO hot sauce… they have good food and are friendly, but I’m in the heat of the moment I guess, but a bunch of women in their thirties should get the order more accurate.

I was visiting the Lone Star State and wanted some quick BBQ so the people at the hotel mentioned Bill Miller Bar-B-Q. Its like a fast food BBQ place that has fairly good Bar-B-Q. Don’t expect the greatest BBQ, but then you don’t have to pay a high price or have a long wait for your food. There are many locations to choose from and will get the job done if you’re hankering for some fast BBQ at a reasonable price.

Visiting from out of town, this was my first time at any Bill Millers. Ordered the 2 meat plate — sausage and brisket — to go. Service was great and I got my food very quickly. I stopped to get some peppers and when I opened the to go container I could not see any brisket. Took it back to the counter and it turned out it was there. One slice cut in half. Seriously. The girl at the counter did have the guys in back put some more meat on the plate, but I doubt I’ll be coming back.

I love the breakfast tacos… My usual is the egg, potato, sausage and they pack it into a small tortilla. The hash browns are like their signature potato offering which make this taco so yummy, it keeps me coming back for another… Well plus the sweet tea… but it’s so sweet that I ask for half and half. I even carry a two BM refill cup in my car as refills are only 50 cents… Now that’s a real deal!!!

I would have to say this is the worst BBQ I have ever tasted. I had the chopped pork sandwich special and it looked like I ordered Sloppy Joes. The fries were cold and greasy. There was 3 of us in the party and nobody finished their lunch and was basically incapacitated for 48 hrs. I can honestly say this is the worst BBQ in America, I feel sorry for San Antonio folks if this is all you got. The sauce seemed to be water and ketchup or something of that nature. If I could give zero stars I would.

Note to self: most of the barbeque places close about 6 on Mondays around here. I journeyed to SA for a quick work trip and I was saving my appetite all day so I could house some tasty BBQ. By the time my flight finally decided to arrive and I got out on the road all my «picks» were closed. But not Bill Miller’s. Not the best but not awful. I got a plate with brisket and sausage. The brisket was surprisingly good — flavorful, nice texture and appearance — but it was smothered in BBQ sauce. Usually the sign of a place where the meat doesn’t have much flavor. The sausage was average but there was too much fat in it. The plate also came with beans(completely unremarkable), some potato«hash» which wasn’t too bad, and cole slaw which was good. Service was great!

So i tried this place many years ago in my youth on one of my many travels — OK once when I was in town. I’m from California and well there’s nothing out there quite like this. To be honest I thought it was really good. «A fast food chain that specializes in BBQ?” — Now that was a crazy concept to me, oh and that ice tea was so refreshing. It would be nice to have a Bill Miller out in California. I just don’t know if the locals are ready for that. It’s not the best Texas has to offer but it has enough amo to tango with the rest. If Im ever out there again I will definitely be stopping by the nearest location.

My friends got Bill Miller BBQ to go. I am a California native and Texas bbq is a treat. They got the briquet. The bbq sauce was delicious. I really enjoyed the BBQ from here and the baked beans. I highly remcommend the place for BBQ. I thought it was interesting that there was a salsa bar, but I didn’t mind. I took some to go Pico De Gallo

Tried this place for the first time just yesterday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a baked potato combo w/a salad and it was delicious! Just the right size and the potato was nice and soft. My husband got the chicken & ham. He said their hashbrowns were the best he’s ever had and their chicken was nice and juicy and seasoned very well. Not only were we surprised by how good the food was, the price was very reasonable as well. Although I did go in expecting a more«sit down restaurant» type of place, I was surprised to see it was more like a fast food joint(which made it even more surprising how good the food was) We will definitely be back.

Possibly the newest Bill Miller I’ve ever been to. Everything is modern without that Tommy Lee Jones Ate Here look. Kind of tough to get to with the long light off Ritterman and the truck traffic. Faster service than most Bill Millers, so one extra star over my normal BMBBQ review.

Tried it for lunch. There are other BBQ joints that are better, but not in the area. Counter service is VERY fast. The food is maybe 2 stars but the super fast service earns them the third five point accolade. Had the sausage po-boy. The flavor of the sausage was good, but the way the sausage was but made the sandwich very difficult to eat. You have to grind your teeth to cut through the«skin» of the sausage(blech!) or you end up with the entire piece of sausage falling out and empty bread. The BBQ sauce(I got it on the side) was tasty, but again, nothing special. For a quick hearty lunch, the prices are good and the food is alright.

One of the BEST places to get breakfast tacos. No matter what combination, the breakfast tacos are always hot and delicious. I have often wondered if they contain crack because I was addicted after just one bite. I am here almost every weekday morning and my coworkers love when I bring some in for them.

Man, I love this place. one of the best chains in Texas. Good tasting meat with good BBQ Sauce. Now I’m not saying the sauce is award winning but definitely good and smoky. Most people in SA or Austin know about this place so if you are non-native go check this place out. Oh yeah and get a Texas Tea Bucket as a souvenir. Check out the website to find other locations that serve breakfast.
