A staple for South Texas(San Antonio and Corpus area), I have to stop by Bill Miller’s anytime I’m back in the area. This review is going to be short and sweet: 1) go to Bill Miller’s, 2) Order anything off the menu, 3) Enjoy. My recommendations: Po-Boys — sausage or lean sliced beef Fried Chicken Rancher Plate w/BBQ and green beans(the green beans are a MUST try) Peach Cobbler Breakfast tacos(if your location offers them). You’re welcome :-)

This Bill Millers does NOT have breakfast. I was pretty disappointed when I pulled up. Other than that the food was still delicious. The tea is amazing, brisket great, coleslaw good. I would recommend getting sauce. Sometimes the buns are soggy, or if you are getting a plate there is not enough sauce. I wish they had breakfast, then I would have given them five stars.

Outstanding barbecue. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and the prices were fair. A few misses: the slaw was a bit on the vinegary side, the potatoes were greasy. The cobbler needed ice cream. Recommendations: specify«sauce on the side» when ordering a sandwich to avoid soggy buns, order sides other than just taking what comes on a combo and specify unsweetened tea if you don’t want sweet tea. Bottom line, if you come here for bbq, you won’t be disappointed. The other stuff they do… well don’t depend on it to match their area of expertise.(Fried chicken could be an exception, but we didn’t try it this visit.)

In luv with their chicken tenders combo, but why every time I’m at the drive thru, I order, but they just assume I want tea? I Order a #4, they basically just go on and say, «Please pull forward.» Bitch, I ain’t finish. I want a #4 and Mountain Dew. Or Sierra Mist.

Not a bad Bill Miller — they are fast and nice at this location. This location does not have breakfast — which is a bummer — I wish that they did. Also this location is always hopping — so expect a line. I’ve been in a couple of times where there was no place to eat inside and sometimes the drive thru line is long. Dont let it discourage you though — as I said, they are rather fast — just be prepared for it. I think that this location gets a lot of walk in traffic too from the neighboring schools and businesses, so it might be another reasons why its always so busy. Otherwise, a great option for affordable BBQ in NESATX. Plus — IMHO, they have some of the best tea(sweet or unsweet) around — I’ve made a couple of trips for tea alone :) I’ve also tried their catering for the holidays –and its always been great and we’ve been satisfied with it – generally comes with meats, veggies, dressing and dessert — a great option if you need to host a large number of people or have an event.

For a quick bite and check lunch, I enjoyed my chicken sandwich and fries with drink. It was a huge chicken and enough fries n drink. Too bad they charge for jalapeños. Sweet tea was average.

I had the sausage. I was at least able to eat it, but in general the food is not very good. I also hate that you have to pay for refills. Who does this today, except Europeans? If you want some BBQ, go to Rudy’s.

The food was good. I got my food just minutes after I ordered. There is a little bar by the tables with bread and pickles and onion etc. that you can use at your leisure. Overall it was a good experience.
