Always had an excuse why their silverware was dirty. They need better management

It’s been years since I’ve been here, so maybe my expectations were too high. Some are chain complaints, others this particular location **Restrooms: Brown matter on stall walls, dirty doors, one sink that didn’t even work. **Server: Vanessa– Was very rushed, but professional in every way. She did say she would bring out cornbread muffins(she stated they had run out), but never did. I’d rate her a 3.75÷5. Very sweet, hard working. **Food: Catfish– undercooked, but not bad enough to send back. Steak– undercooked, but not bad enough to send back. Hash brown casserole– disgusting. Small portion that looked like it had been scraped from the bottom of a pan. I sent it back, and was brought out a fresh portion that was delicious! The portions for the sides were SMALL– surprised us! The child’s burger and fries were fine. The syrup is no longer maple, but rather a blend of maple and plain sugar. The biscuits and gravy were fine. **Store: Needed more actual«country» stuff rather than overpriced Walmart items. I was prepared to purchase something from the store, but ended up only spending $ 5 on junior mints and a book for the child. **The greeter acted bored. Overall, I doubt we’ll be back any time soon. In fact, we stopped by the grocery store to pick up something for later.

Great service! Great food! I never have a bad experience here. The server Tony did an excellent job of taking care of us. He brought us fresh biscuits. Fresh sausage. Everything was fantastic. We will be back.

Waitress tried her best to cater about 15 of us kids in a marching band, but the kitchen messed up every one of our orders and denied it when asked about it. Decent steak, okay salad(with the one teaspoon of dressing in a cup), great store and root beer. Summary: Service bad, food good.

This location is way below there standard////The server was lousy had to get other servers to refill our drinks, the food took 38 min just to make it to table. «And» it was not even hot. We where so hungry we tried to eat it but tasted terrible So we complained to A mgr who apologized and gave us a 50% comp That helped a little but still never going back. I guess that we had taken 3 bites a full comp was out of the question

This place is very disappointing today. This is the second time this month they ran out of the special of the day. We placed our order at 3:30PM then 10 minutes later we were advised they were out and no substitutions. However., the sign still states the special. They said it would be two hours until the next batch for Turkey. This is unacceptable and I do not recommend coming here. The manager did not even come to apologize or speak to us. They have lost customers today.

Love Cracker Barrel But this location is terrible! Took over an hour to get our breakfast to us and still wasn’t done correctly. No apologies. Eggs were cold and my steak was warm like it’s been sitting for a while. Will not come back here!

This place has the worst customer service ever! They take way too long to bring food out, once they finally bring it to the table you will never see them again.

We went for my first time a couple of weeks ago. When we were finally called the girl never looked us in the face. The greeter handed her the menus she yawned, turned walked to a table then turned and walked away she never said a word. I ordered the French Toast, Mc Ds could of done better. Very disappointing.

This location used to be so good but now the service is hit and miss. Sometimes they bring you cornbread and biscuits before the meal, and sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they ask if you want biscuits or cornbread or both, and will only bring you one of each. They used to bring you a mix enough for the whole table. I also don’t like that they assign you a table where everyone else is sitting. I understand that waitresses have assigned areas, but if there is a whole section empty and a whole section packed, guess which area I don’t want to sit at. I’ve noticed the serving sizes are also getting smaller. I still enjoy the atmosphere and the store, but it can be better.

Will not be returning to this location. Used to be good but last few times service is awful. The lady at the counter where we paid was so rude when I walked up to pay she rolled her eyes and walked off. Server never refilled our drinks did not bring out all the good we ordered and we hardly ever saw her. Waste of time. The one on 35 has better service.

We won’t be returning this this location of Cracker Barrel, which is sad because I love their breakfasts. We went this past week for breakfast, and it took our server over 10 minutes to take our drink order. After waiting another ten minutes, we still didn’t have drinks and could see our server walking around taking other orders. It doesn’t take much sense to know that you either bring out the drinks right away or have someone else bring them out for you, esp when your customers have been waiting for a while. We ended up leaving and going to IHOP. Bottom line: management needs to better train the servers.

Breakfast was good. Had some biscuits and an egg sandwich. Friend had the blueberry pancakes and said it was delicious. Waiter was friendly and responsive, did tell us he broke up a fight in the back between two cooks and was riding that adrenaline for a time. Good place, not the best but good.

I ate here for the first time ever and for breakfast and it wasn’t anything spectacular. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant and store was clean but there certainly isn’t nothing great about the food, especially the prices. I ordered the smokehouse breakfast which consisted of 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 biscuits and grits and it was $ 11 which to me seems pretty extreme. Glad I went to give it a try but can’t see going back and spending that much money on food that’s just average

Everytime we come here the food is good but the service is poor. The waiter seems overwhelmed. We got the coffee but no refills, asked for biscuits that never arrived. Waiter is cute but who cares when my coffee cup sits empty. I keep watching other staff walk past with the coffee carafe but they are in their zone and do not look at the crazy lady with her empty cup perched to the corner of the yable waiting.

We order to-go pickups from this place a couple times a month, and even though they take forever. The food is always good. Just don’t believe the 15 minute wait time they will quote on the phone! Our favorite is the meatloaf dinner with baby carrots and hash brown casserole, for both of us! Rating system: 5 stars = I’ll drive across town specifically for this, and rave to all my friends about it! 4 stars = Would recommend visiting. 3 stars = Average, acceptable, positive. 2 stars = You might be able to drag me in. 1 star = I will not be returning.

This was my very first time at Cracker Barrel. The overall atmosphere was very enjoyable. The Cracker Barrel store was cute with lots of random things to look at(or buy). The service however was very bad. We had to ask for silverware, condiments, and had to ask for updates on our food because it took so long. The quality of the food was pretty poor as well, as was the presentation. It looked like it had just been flopped on our plates. It looked very messy. I would not recommend this location and will not be returning to any other Cracker Barrel locations — even though this was my first experience.

We came here when they first opened several years ago. Just about all the food had a bacon-ish aftertaste. Some of us got sick afterwards. So years later we all decided to try this place again. Unfortunately, I have one thing to say. Check your utensils BEFORE eating!!! Half of ours still had a crusty feel to them. My hamburger steak was flavorless. I guess it will be a while before we return again.

Cracker Barrel is a great restaurant for traditional«American» food. This is the type of food you would expect from a small town eatery. For being a chain restaurant they still offer a great quality and quantiy of options. It’s a great place to dine with children as they have the store inside, games at the table, and crayons and coloring material for the younger, or older, ones. The server I had was great. She was an older lady that had a «Flo» quality about her. When I tried to pay at the table through her she kindly told me that I had to pay at the register. Wish I had her name so I could give her some props.

I have always been a fan of the Cracker Barrel, even though they discriminate in their employment practices. This trip I had the pleasure of enjoying their new Pecan Pancakes with Butter Pecan syrup, although I opted for their maple syrup instead because the waitress didn’t know if the Butter Pecan syrup was corn syrup based. These were delicious. On the side I had the potato casserole which was tasty, although it didn’t seam like cracker barrel portion for a side, especially for the almost $ 3 add charge. Service here was pretty typical; fast, friendly, and efficient.
