Cody Pools

I will give 2 stars because I love our pool. If I had it to do all over again, I would go with another builder. I think $ 55,000 could have been spent better elsewhere with a company that would appreciate the business.
Everything was wonderful in the beginning when the pool is being designed and the contract is being signed. You reach everyone by phone if you need them. After that, it’s like pulling teeth to get them. Then comes the constant excuses as to when each part of the pool would be completed and the sob story about they couldn’t send the crew because equipment broke. When they finally show up and you’re taking the crew water because it’s hot out and you start to chit chat and tell them you’re sorry they lost work because of the broken equipment. Unfortunately for Cody Pools, the guy was very honest and told me the equipment was never broken and that they were sent on a large job where the pool was probably 3 times the cost of mine, therefore letting me know the importance Cody Pool placed on our business. To add insult to injury, the supervisor came out a few days later to check the progress, started saying sorry for being behind and then slipped up that they had put someone ahead else ahead of us. He immediately froze, realizing that he was an idiot and couldn’t keep his lies straight, but I just allowed the lie to linger as I’m much too polite to call him out on it and I really just wanted his moron a$$ out of my house. I literally could not stand this guy after 3 months.
Since we have had the pool, we have had a few problems, most solved to our satisfaction, one not and never will be. I can say this because we have been blatantly ignored. Calls not returned, emails not answered or followed up on.
If I bought another house and went to build another pool, Cody Pools could offer me the same pool for $ 10,000 and I would NOT hire them. Believe it or not. I would rather pay another company more than give Cody Pools another dollar of our hard earned money.

We have had our pool now for a few years and love, love, love it! Kevin Hernandez is one of the best designers in the industry. In fact, ‘he’ is the reason we went with Cody Pools. The service and attention we received was outstanding! To this day, Kevin still checks in on us and will bring by the occasional shopper to show them our pool!
A pool by Cody will change your life for the better! You won’t be disappointed!
