Had some moving damage in a home in San Antonio they made quick easy work of it fixing it when they went to inspect resonably priced quick and efficent would recommond them and will use for all my paintng needs in the area

This review is long overdue (I’ve reviewed this company several times on Angie’s list but wasn’t a big Unilocal user until now). We have used Black Pearl numerous times over the past several years for deck and fence staining and painting different rooms in our home. Mike is extremely personable and gets back to you quickly whenever you need a quote or have a question. We have been very happy with all the services that he has provided, he has a great team and they always leave the area cleaner than when they arrived. His prices are great and they do the job in a timely fashion. We recently needed our fence repaired and Mike came out promptly and gave me a quote, I accepted and he told me he would be out the next day. (Mike also remembered from over a year ago that my Mum had been sick and one of the first things he did was ask me about her). Mike came out and repaired the fence and wouldn’t accept payment, this was above and beyond what he needed to do and we are immensely appreciative of this kindness at a difficult time in our lives. I highly recommend this company!

Requested a quote through Unilocal (after hours) and Mike got in touch with me right away. Explained that we had a short-​notice project and he came by the very next day for a full estimate. After I agreed, Mike’s crew were out the very next day to clean and prep my home for exterior paint on the trim. The project was done in less than a day and a half. His staff were polite and helpful. Mike was there to assist and oversee the entire project. I am thankful to Unilocal who helped me find Mike and his great crew. Absolutely will contact them for any and all interior/​exterior paint projects in the future!

Outstanding & competitive pricing! Had my residential fence repaired, cleaned and stained. Was on time each day of the job, did amazing work with the fence, and went above and beyond what I expected. In fact, he fixed some things that I didn’t notice were issues without charging extra on the invoice. Would highly recommend to all!

This review is long overdue and I Hope Mike forgives me for my tardiness. I found Mike and his team on Unilocal and was thrilled by his reviews. He came to the house and gave me a Great military discount. We discussed the work in phases and he even recommended some areas that did not require painting to reduce costs. His vision for my home was amazing and he was professional and very passionate about his work. His crew was dependable and on time and experts at their craft. Mike completed the staining of my fence, touch ups to my door and created the beautiful accent walls you see in the ceilings and back walls. He also was responsible for any crown molding you see. The builder painted the entire home a sort of sand and Mike helped me to Create the Bold look I was going for.
I have posted the pictures of my home on Facebook and the reviews from my friends confirm that contracting Mike for this job was the smartest decision I could have made. I used sticker-​brand decals to accent the walls and Bedroom and I believe they came out nicely on top of what Mike completed.

I used this company to stain a new fence in my yard. Let me just say I will always use them in the future. They were great!

Mike came out to our house after my work hours in response to my call for a paint/​stain job for a large exterior arbor. He inspected the site offered some opinions based upon my requirements and was prompt to provide an emailed professional bid for service. The price was reasonable and after my acceptance he provided me a schedule for the work. Unfortunately (fortunately for San Antonio) we had some rain, Mike was very prompt to adjust and provide me an updated timeline. The job was completed and surpassed my expectations. Prior to final inspection I had a door knob incident with an interior wall. I asked Mike for some advice and he just fixed it as well, he even gave the family a painting lesson :) Overall my experience with Black Pearl Custom Painting is A+. Mike was courteous, professional, reasonably priced, and actually an interesting fello. Based on experience I would recommend Black Pearl Custom Painting for any exterior or interior paint jobs.
