We had an hour to eat lunch and return to the hospital. We had chicken Caesar wraps and grilled cheese. Sauce was a bit runny but for fast food, not bad. How can you mess up grilled cheese? For a light bite and quick lunch when there were lines all over the food court, I would go here.

Wow, I’m a bit shocked at the negativity here towards Chicken Now. As an outsider, I probably don’t know any better from this chain situated in a mall food court. However, what I can share is how satisfied I was at the meal I purchased from this Chicken Now. I ordered chicken fingers, fries, and a side of Texas toast. I can honestly say they were delicious. I mean, what more could you expect from something that costs less than $ 10? The highlight of my meal was definitely the toast. Not too burnt or under-cooked. Just right. If I ever do run into another Chicken Now, I’ll be sure to stop by.

The health inspector needs to go check this place out! Stay away! I witnessed a young lady working the kitchen with proper latex gloves on eating food with her hands while she was preparing other food. This is a clear violation of most health codes in any city. While they were deciding how to make my wrap, I noticed they(young lady and coworker) went to get a tub of lettuce, but both had to rummage through it(young lady with same gloves) to decide if the lettuce was good. Event if you let that go, the food is poor quality, overpriced and took too long.

I only had their mac and cheese and I was totally disappointed. I know it is food court food, so my expectations were lowered. my portion was tiny, expensive and not very good tasting.

Chicken Now in the Rivercenter Mall has the name all wrong. Chicken«Out» or Chicken«Later» should be more like it. Went there on a Monday at 1:00pm while in town for a tradeshow. After placing my order it took 25 minutes to get my food. There was only 1 cook and felt kind of bad for the guy with the rush. But hunger made that sympathy go away real quick. They apparently ran out of bread for some orders and had to substitute other items on the menu. Food tasted average for a food court venue, however usually when one goes to a food court they go there to eat quickly. That is apparently not the case as the name of the restaurant leads you to believe. When I come back in later this year for another tradeshow, I’ll look elsewhere for a quick bite.
