Bush’s Chicken

Very poor and un-​organize drive through service. Employees lacking overall care for the trade or customers time.
Oh, yeah it’s good there 1 – 4 times. What’s up with that.

So disappointed! I should’ve gone to Popeye’s for my fried chicken fix. I pull up and there’s two car ahead of me (one on the right and one on the left). I pulled into the left lane making my car #2 in that lane, 3^rd car in drive thru total. Both cars ahead of me were helped. There were 5 employees standing at the door area. I waited in line after the two cars received their food and pulled off. One guy finally came to my car and asked had I been helped. I’m disappointed in the service. Why pay employees to converse amongst each other when there are paying customers to be attended to? They have too many young people working there who get distracted easily. It was 4 males crowding the one female and that’s why they couldn’t focus.

We came through the drive through about 8pm on Tuesday and it was packed! We ordered the Tender Tuesday special which is 15 tenders with gravy and 4 rolls and a sweet tea for $ 15! Really great deal. The tenders were hot and awesome. Nothing but good service and food! Enjoy!

The chicken was really good, dinner rolls fresh. the mac and cheese was bland no seasoning at all. Not crazy about this spot but I will eat here again.

The food here at bush’s chicken is pretty good a chicken strips. crispy and tender that good flavor um they do have french fries fried okra and other items that arereally good I would give it 5 stars but for some reason there sweet tea taste like green beans. I’ve tried this location multiple times. and each time the sweet tea still taste like green beans… kinda deal breaker for me…

I’ve been here a number of times and I’ve always gotten great service. The staff is friendly and quick to serve. The food has been hot and tasty. Their green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls and gravy are my favorite sides. They are my go to place for chicken!

Bush’s is the only place that I know of to get gizzards in town. Their gizzards and fried okra are both very good and I like the unique drive-​thru/​walk-​up format and the easy-​to-​browse menu. While some may see this as limited, I appreciate it because it keeps the lines moving by not offering a ton of options to hang people up on. It also makes food prep faster too. I’ve never had a bad experience with any of the employees. They are prompt, courteous and close-​to-​perfect in terms of order accuracy. Prices are reasonable too.
DO Make sure you get the red Serendipity seasoning — it’ll change your life!

Huge fan of their chicken strips mainly because they give you gravy to dip them in. Awesome. Their regular chicken is well seasoned, hot, and juicy. I must say that I am not a fan of their unique drive-​thru ordering system.

This is not my normal stop for lunch but it was today. The service was great, I was greeted with a wonderful Hello! The food was nice and fresh and the sweet tea was sweet. I’m not a big fried chicken fan so I truly can’t give this place more than 3 stars since I wasn’t Wowed !!.

Chicken was very tasty but we prefer spicy children. I really wish they would add that to their menu.

Fried Chicken are big and fresh. It’s too salty. I think Popeye’s is better.

Yesterday the long anticipated wait for my Bush’s Chicken fix was over because the new location off Culebra outside 1604 opened! Being their first day opened, I expected it to be hectic experience but I was in and out of the drive-​thru in under five minutes. They also trained their employees incredibly well. My order was hot, fresh and more importantly correct. Will definitely stop by again. And again.
