We were at the Natural Bridges Caverns down the road and had a hankering for Q. This came up on Unilocal so we gave it shot. First impression are good… It’s a quaint small building clad in recycled timber. Upon entering the smell of deliciousness had my mouth watering. The owners were there to greet and seat you and we’re very friendly. The menu is standard BBQ fair and reasonably priced. I had the 3 meat plate; brisket, sausage and chicken with beans and potato salad. The sausage and chicken were excellent and the home made sides were also very good. The only downside to my meal was the brisket was a little dry, but still very flavorful. My wife had the brisket tacos and raved about them. There’s a nice playground out back for the kids. All in all a very good meal. I would’ve given 5 stars except for the brisket. I would go again

Three of us dropped by for a late Saturday lunch. It’s a new spot with good food and good service. The chicken, brisket, and sausage was all very good. Tasty sides too!

Food wasn’t bad, but the entire meal(family sampler) was cold. Nothing really jumped off the plate. We live in the neighborhood and might try it again… I like to support local business! Staff was friendly and checked on us and everything was clean and organised. Come on folks, make that BBQ pop! Get us back in here!!!

The brisket/sausage combo sandwich is killer! Love the beans and nice staff. Quiet backyard feel.

Great food and service! Not one item was just mediocre as most barbecue restaurants have just one amazing thing. Even the sides were all good. Great for families too since they have a playscape out back and are so sweet in giving the kids a nice snow one in a cup on the house and it’s just the right size for the little ones. :)

What a treasure! We passed this place going to the caverns and decided to eat there afterwards. Boy were we glad we did! The food was delicious! The environment was clean, cozy, and family friendly. We were all so hungry; we ordered plenty of food! We were pleasantly surprised again to see their prices were very reasonable. We wish we lived near this place; we’d love to be regulars.

We decided to try it since it reopened(formerly ‘Bucket Brigade’). We ordered the Discovery Plate that had brisket, chicken, ribs and sausage with three sides. We ordered the boracho beans, cream corn and green beans. They told us they were temporarily out of green beans so we went with potato salad. The brisket(the staff said its their specialty) was disappointing. While very tender and moist it lacked any smoke flavor and had a very odd texture — we didn’t finish it. The chicken had a very good flavor — just the right smoke flavor and very tender — a win. The sausage was disappointing — it lacked any real flavor and tasted like it came from the local store and was tossed on a grill to heat it up. The ribs were pleasantly very good. They fell off the bone and had an excellent flavor — I enjoyed them very much! The cream corn had a good flavor but was very runny — not like what I am used to. The boracho beans were unfortunately not good; they advertise it as their signature recipe. My first bite of beans, onions and cilantro was actually tasty, however when eating just the beans they tasted exactly like chicken noodle soup. The potato salad was a typical country potato salad — not bad at all but nothing remarkable either. To their credit, they did bring us green beans when they were done. The flavor wasn’t bad with the onions and black pepper but again, nothing remarkable and the beans were undercooked. The sauces are original and spicy — both have a somewhat sweet flavor and were tasty but I could not discern and difference between the two. For desert we shared a peach cobbler, which was very tasty — the right proportions of peaches and crust and sauce — very tasty. All in all not a bad meal but not something I’d really crave or look forward to and with all of the other BBQ places within 15 miles, probably won’t be heading back anytime soon. The staff were very friendly and helpful!
