Been to this location a hand full of times and it is as good as any Bill Miller BBQ location. Drive-thru is always fast as is the line inside, another thing I like about Bill Miller is their order accuracy is one of the best IMO and they rarely make mistakes, at least on my experience. You also often get more than you asked for, in the terms of I often order the 3-piece chicken tenders and it isn’t uncommon to get 4+ pieces. Sounds funny but it shows they aren’t being«cheap» with their customers and I appreciate that. Keep up the good work guys.

I will start off by saying this was always one of my favorite places to eat. I have had pretty much everything on the menu over the years but there’s only one thing I will personally order. Chicken strips and gravy with fries and a sweet tea. I’m not going to rate anything else on their menu because I simply don’t care about anything else they have. Unfortunately over the years they have changed their fries and changed their chicken very slightly. When I leave there I regret eating as much as I did which is a problem but that’s how I know I got my money’s worth. The chicken strips and fries are still great. The tea is good. This review is longer than I planned and probably accomplished nothing. If you haven’t been here try the chicken strips and you probably won’t regret it.

I don’t get the appeal… There’s literally a Bill Miller on every corner. Not only is it not good, it’s a little pricy as well! I know Rudy’s is quite the drive but go ahead and make the trip out there. At least you won’t regret it.

I used to eat breakfast or lunch here quite often but have stopped because of higher prices, the removal of the condiment bar(it is now in the serving line) and the overall commercialism of the establishment.

Eating as I type– Well I’m just rating my first experience, which didn’t leave a great impression. My ribs were like beef jerky and the BBQ sauce tastes like warm hickory ketchup. The side dishes are decent. Maybe if I go back I’ll get breakfast tacos or brisket.

Well. A Bill Millers is a BMs. However. I had, easily, the best brisket I have ever had at a BM at this location. Sadly the rice was cold and the hash browns were very burnt. Fries were super hot though and the service was quick.

I love Bill Miller’s BBQ. Next to Cooper’s in Llano and Salt Lick, this is it. Ate lunch there today. Two chopped BBQ with fries and tea. Inexpensive, hot and delicious. Add some onions and you’re set. The service here is great too. The young ladies and men always try to please. They are friendly and efficient. You ask for lean beef you get it. BBQ sauce is wonderful. Not the peppery crap that Rudy’s tries to pass. The brisket tacos are superb and the pecan pie is to die for. Never had a bad meal here, never. Cannot understand why you would go anywhere else for great BBQ…

I know not to expect anything super spectacular from Bill Millers but seriously, this was the worst customer service I have ever experienced!!! Very rude and just ugly in general. I understand that it’s busy and you have to move at a faster pace but the customers should not have to suffer because of that. I came to this location because it was closer to my work but never again!!! I will stick to location closer to my home.

Bill Miller locations are all over San Antonio so we wanted to see all the hype. Typical big bbq joint. We got the number 7 which consisted of 2 bbq sandwiches fries and sweet tea. Our tea flavor was good but not sweet at all! sandwiches were Ok. They were kinda small and barely any meat at all. It had a good taste but not much of it. It was basically a sloppy Joe. The bread was good. French fries were a joke. We got literally 6 fries. They were soggy. I know we came in a awkward time for a late lunch or early dinner but you should always want to impress. We unfortunately will not be back. We prefer Blanco bbq. Hope you have a better experience.

Why oh why would you even eat here? Tried this place for the first and most definitely last, unless it’s the last surviving restaurant when the world is coming to an end, time. Husband and I had the rancher plate. It consists of 2 meats and 3 sides. He had the ribs, chicken, 2 rice and potato salad. His comments were as follows: chicken was tough, ribs were practically just bones(woof woof!), potato salad was tasteless, and the entire plate was just doused with BBQ sauce which hey, uhhh, was that even BBQ sauce? Lovely comments huh? I had turkey, chicken, rice and double green beans. Turkey was good though the portion was really tiny. Chicken was still pink, so I think that speaks for itself, green beans were soggy but tasted alright, rice was okay and probably the best part of my lunch. no wait, it was the soda that was the best part cause I had to push all that scrumptious food down to my stomach. Will we ever come back? Yeah, maybe when we’re senile and can’t remember that we disliked this place so much. Oh, and the place was just dirty and so unappealing. I Didn’t even want to use the restroom. Got out of there as fast as we could! One star? Yeah, that was for the soda! Did I mention it was overpriced? You gotta NOT try this place.

I will never go to a Bill Miller BBQ again. We recently moved to San Antonio and I was wanting to try some Texas BBQ. I ordered the Brisket sandwich, the smoke flavor overpowered the taste of the meat. The brisket itself was fatty, dry, served on a sub roll and lukewarm at best. The sauce was the best part of the meal but not great. the fries were soggy like they were sitting for a while. I ordered a unsweetened ice tea and got sweet ice tea. The place was dirty, garbage and food left on tables and the floor. Just an overall bad experience. If your looking for good BBQ this isn’t the place to go.

I’m sure there is better BBQ somewhere in San Antonio. The prices seem pretty decent until you get your portion and are surprised at how small it is. Also, I would not recommend getting it to-go. I got a poor boy and drove 3 minutes back to my apartment & by the time I did the bread was soggy. Overall, if you want good quality BBQ you’re better off looking elsewhere.

This is on the way to hubby’s work and he loves this location. The staff is funny and friendly! He gets off in the morning to order tacos and they’re super fast! So if you see a long line in the drive thru just park and walk right in.

I had one breakfast taco from here and I thought it was really good. Everyone else in my group really loved them. I went to get a pulled pork breakfast taco and I was denied with the empty bag. That is not right!!! Who took the last one? Oh well… I will definately have to try this place in the future when I return back to San Antonio!
