$ 14 for two slices of brisket, some pieces of sausage, and three small sides. Cafeteria style dining, for $ 14 I was expecting way more.

Avid fan of Bill Miller’s. Started new job and this store is close. Got a rancher plate meal and asked for double fries due to a bean allergy I have… Got back to the office and had no fries but double beans… should of checked beforehand. This restaurant obvious is more worried about thinning the line down than getting the order right. Stale bread!

I visited San Antonio for a coaching clinic at St. Mary’s University and had lunch at Bill Miller because it was down the street on Culebra. I have to say that this was the worst brisket I’ve ever in my life tasted. The sauce was watery and not good at all. The hoagie bread for the sandwhich is the first mistake. Wrong bread for a brisket sandwhich. Left the food on the tray and left just as hungry as I was when I arrived.

Love Bill Miller BBQ! I frequent this place for lunch b/c it has quality food and is super close to work. Always order the #1 po’ boy combo and was never disappointed. So yummy! I also substitue the fries with green beans(healthy and delicious)! The sweet tea is good too. I like the fact that they have a complimentary bar from fresh onions to bread. I love their fresh onions, soo good! The bread is awesome too. I leave with satisfaction every time, have yet to think about what not to love! To the haters, sue me!

I ordered the turkey poor boy because I had no idea what that was. One of the more disgusting things I have tried recently. Overpriced for mystery meats slathered in descent bbq sauce and placed in a hot dog bun. The fries were undercooked, bland, and soggy. The sweet tea actually was good. The staff was nice but I will not go back.

Bill’s is on my mind almost daily. Born and raised in San Antonio, it was hard to move away from Texas and miss out on staples such as Bill Millers. Let me tell you about Bill’s. They are fast food oriented but the food is only served quick but not made quick! I know. I used to work there a long time ago! These are very secretly guarded recipes. The sauce, the ranch dressing, the pies, brownies, meats. They are all delivered daily, freshly made from the main downtown kitchen in San Antonio. That’s why there is no other location outside of the SA area. This is good stuff for a reason. It’s good food. It will always be my favorite BBQ and I’m always homesick till I’m eating a Poor-Boy w/sweet tea and limes!

Wiring is lame, service was rude and slow! And I am not sure if I’m liking the updated building! It makes it even more corporate to me! I’m not sure if that’s a good sign, even though it is a chain restaurant. The sweet tea isn’t bad and neither is the sausage, but there are better Bar-B-Q places in SA, so don’t be fooled!

I’ve eatten alot of BBQ and I have to say that this place has the worst meat I’ve ever seen. I ordered the brisket combo platter and told them to surprise me with the sides. I got just alittle meat and alot of fat. The beans were very good but the slaw wasn’t slaw at all in my book it was sheredded lettuce with some red lettuce and onion with vingrette sauce. the fried potatoes looked and tasted like soggy crutons. I see this Restraunt around alot in South Texas and I was very dissappointed at what I found inside

Not good at all. This is fast food BBQ. Do it right and eat BBQ at home.

Bill Miller or Miller Bill Bar-B-Q where Southern greasy and flavorful fried chicken meet sweet tea. I have arrived at the ‘great divide’ of frying chicken recipes. True-quill Southern Fried Chicken is crisp, full of flavor, with a light coating that slightly crunches on the first bite and blends together in the mouth the taste of chicken with crunchy skin and breading with a slight undertone of fat. Finally, an important part of the tradition of sweet tea«Southern Style» or «Extra-sweet Southern Style»… A big 5 star Southern greasy H3llo for San Antonio’s Bill Miller or Miller Bill Bar-B-Q —

When I was in Texas, I expected nothing but good Mexican Food and delicious Barbecue. This wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. My boyfriend warned me about it first, saying«It’s not the best» and he was right. It’s not terrible either, but if you are looking for some good food, then you ought to look elsewhere(barbecue anyways). However, I would agree that their chicken is pretty tasty, and the overall experience isn’t too bad… but, I don’t know, it’s just ‘one of those places”.

Almost 30 years ago when I was stationed at Ft Sam Houston, a buddy of mine took me here(if this is the location nearest to Ft Sam.) for lunch a couple of times.(Hey John C. I still remember you) I remember the Q was decent, never drank the tea, but all in all I will always think of this place as a great memory of a city I got to know very little. Sure I saw the Alamo and the Riverwalk(probably more in it’s formative years back then– or just less hyped) Hey it was great to this California boy. Q served cafeteria style, and it got me off-post. Three stars for the memories!!!

I don’t want to offend San Antonians but I didn’t really like it. I had the chicken strips with the fries and super sweet tea. I even had it twice just to make sure but now I’m sure I don’t like it. I do promise to try it 1 more time and order something different, maybe the brisket.

I was born & raised in San Antonio and now I’m living in San Diego – and from here North Carolina… I MISSBILLMILLERS!!! Greasy, fattening fried goodness with SWEETTEA! This place would make a killing if they ever decided to hit California!!! If you’re from SA and you just happen to move, you’ll miss it. Don’t take this place for granted:-)

Yummy place. I always go through the drive through and get the turkey sandwich, some potato salad, coleslaw, and an iced tea. Everything is always savory and satisfying. I wish they had these in my neck of the woods in Houston…

this bill millers is BOMB. bbq. fries. sweet tea. pie. brownies… man now i have the muchies! this place rules all. but you know what? you have to try their bean n cheese tacos. but not just like that… with their hot salsa. YUM. they’re under a buck and PACKED with cheese. the tortilla is so soft, practically melts in your mouth while yr taking a bite. but remember that not all locations serve breffest.
