First of all they rush you, then they tell you everything’s in the bag assuming your gonna forget to ask for pickles and onions, then they always put the brownies on top of the hot chicken, they also put the few napkins in the same bag as the fries??? No common sense at all. They have no problem trying to up-sale you but won’t ask if you need any condiments that you’ll probably forget to ask for because of the first problem… They rush you. Just FYI, check your bag before you leave the window because 9⁄10 times they will forget something. They once forgot my whole plate! I love BM but the service sucks at almost all locations. That is all

Look kiddies, it’s Bill Miller’s! It is fast food BBQ, and other stuff. They make a fine BBQ chicken, tasty and moist. The salads are fresh, the dressings also freshly made. And the BBQ is solid. It ain’t Blacks and it ain’t Franklins, but I didn’t pay $ 17 for a couple of ribs or stand in line three hours to get some of it. The service is friendly and efficient generally speaking. Their fried chicken is delicious, and their baked potatoes are perfect! Show some love and respect for this San Antonio institution, guys. I’d chew thru a M-ATV to get some right now. Give it a go… and manage expectations. Love it!

It is not the best but better than Rudy’s. The fries are pretty good and so is the sweet tea. Everything else is just edible. Nothing to get excited about or go out of your way to go get.

If I could give less than a star I would. I went through the drive thru and ordered a #1. Instead of the brisket I was expecting I got chunks of fat, soggy bread and fries and soured tea. Only thing decent was their willingness to provide a redo with a slice of pie. Never going back to this location.

People have been complaining about the taste of the BBQ here. To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of it either, it’s pretty middle of the road. However, Bill Miller’s does a few things really well: 1) pecan pie, 2) iced tea, 3) CHICKENSTRIPSANDFRIES(fave right here), 4) service. I wish this location served breakfast too since Bill Miller tacos are THEBOMB and worth every 1.89 or whatever it is that they cost.

When I visit Bill Miller’s its usually for breakfast and I always get the cowboy breakfast with chopped sausage. Sadly this location does not open for breakfast so this is just a general review of Bill Millers. The plate consists of refried beans, homestyle potatoes, scrambled eggs and delicouse sausage. The sausage is cut into small pieces and cooked nice and crispy just how I like it. The condiment bar that they have is pretty good too with everything from jelly to pico de gallo. I personally love to mix the pico de gallo into my beans and eggs as the pico just gives it a fresh and spicey taste. You can never go wrong with the sweet tea which is a staple here in South Texas. Did I mention the pie is pretty good too? I don’t ever leave without grabing a slice of their pecan pie. Its not the best pecan pie that I have ever had but its still pretty good. :)

Had lunch there and was pretty satisfied. The hubby had the fried chicken and I had a brisket plate which was good but definatly can’t beat Rudy’s. But for the price, you can’t beat it.
