We have only visited one location and we liked it. Food was good and burgers are big. Make sure you’re clear on how you want it cooked or its pink. The veggie burgers are literally vegetables like mushrooms and onions on a bun. Not like a patty made from veggies :(Not sure why my husband ordered me one(one of those married couple arguments). Shakes, cookies and brownies are good too. Refill drinks yourself. The kids play nonstop which is great for parents. We bring family here and lots of groups are always here. My ONLY complaint is that there have been tables reserved for our entire hour long meal and yet we never saw anyone sitting there. I feel like the party rooms should be used for parties and not taking up all the outdoor shade. Read: Empty tables outside in the shade for at least an hour!!! As a mother of a newborn that was frustrating when there was no room in the shade or left inside either.

I will start with the good. You can order your burger cooked the way you like, medium rare yes and if you have kids they have a big outdoor area for them. Now for the real, 35 bucks for a burger and fries for me and my son, that’s crazy. The burger was juicy and by juicy I mean I got 2 bites into it before I had to use a fork because the bun fell apart. I wanted a chili burger but it costs 2.50 for a side of chili, I guess I can use the rest for the fries. My first time there and I had questions and the girl at the counter seemed like it was a pain in the ass to answer my questions(what’s make it dirty mean). Beer in a plastic cup is good for a picnic but at the price I’m paying, I want a glass. I’m trying to hit up some good burger places in the city and this checked a box, can’t say it was a good check… more like the red pen to your paper in school. I would recommend it if you have deep pockets which being a disabled Vet, mine are shallow and empty… is this a penny in my pocket, sweet. I guess I will see what burger place is next and hope it’s better.

These burgers are so big, juicy, and flavorful! I love the fact that if you order your burger to-go, they pack it deconstructed. The patty is wrapped in foil, the buns wrapped in paper separately, and all the fixings packed in it’s own baggie. You get home and you unpack a warm patty and a perfect bun, not soggy like most burgers you get home. Perfect onion rings, and sweet potatoe fries. Their homemade sauces are amazing! Return trips to Big’z is most definitely warranted!

Loved the food and the atmosphere. There’s even a place for the kids to play. Our choir did a fellowship there and everyone had a great time, lots and lots of room for many people. The food is a tiiinny bit pricey but truthfully worth the price overall.

Mediocre burgers for a ridiculous price. My burger had very little seasoning or flavor if any at all. I asked for a medium well burger, I got a medium rare. Being that it was insanely busy, I wasn’t about to wait another 20 mins for my food so I just ate it. The draft beer is served in a plastic cup. I’d perfer it in a glass. The area inside was dirty. They have fans, but it was very hot and humid inside. Overall, for for a limited menu, there really isn’t much to brag about this place. Other than having a place for the kids to play, it’s just another disappointing burger joint.

The line was rather long but the food came out quickly after ordering. I enjoyed the chicken sandwich I got and loved the huge patio with the lawn. I’d go back & just plan to be there slightly before the lunch rush.

No gloves!!! Really you guys!!! People scratching their heads, touching random things and then touching YOUR food! I canceled my order and told them manager why. He even didn’t agree with the no gloves issue but he stated it came from higher up… I really hope no one gets sick from eating here. He was very apologetic and nice however it’s no surprise that I won’t be returning. He said the staff sanitize their hands but what about the critters lying underneath their nails ?!

First off there is mold all over the soda fountains. The employees are all walking around doing nothing. One employee keeps doing laps around the table and its extremely awkward. The burgers are plain and need some seasoning. The jalapeño bread is good tho. The fries are nice and crunchy. The chili cheese fries are good also. This place is freezing inside. They don’t have the heater running and its freezing outside.

It’s a perfect place to come as a family, especially if you have little kids. They have a nice, huge back yard for your little ones to run wild. It’s completely fenced off, so no worry that they might get lost. Gigantic space inside, really reminds me of a drill hall, especially with the set up, kinda ironic(or maybe it’s their intention) the fact that they’re so close to many military bases in the area and indeed, get a lot of military customers. They do offer military discount btw. Any burger place that gives me option to add more toppings to my burger is A ok in my book. Their burger was good, but wasn’t the best that I have had. I did like the fact that they leave out onion and other condiments for you to get as much as you want. Will I come back here again? Yes, but only if I get invited. To be fair, I’m not really a burger fan to start out with. It’s really not them, it’s me lol

The burger I had for lunch was delicious! We ordered a side of pickle fries and the sweet potato fries– yum! We both ordered shakes– strawberry and their seasonal pumpkin pie! Ahhhmazing! Great venue for large groups and families as they have a huge play/grassy area.

What a pleasant surprise. We came here with a ton of family after a long day at Sea World. Ordering at the counter was quick and easy. They have a great selection of wine and beer. The vegetarian option is a portabello burger that is delicious. They’ve got lots of space inside and a large outdoor area with a soccer field. Eating here with kids was easy and the door was great.

I never like to give a bad review but after my first visit to Bigz I have no choice. First off, I purchased a the big chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries(was charged for the Combo extra 40 cents) and I purchased a busted sandal slippery rock IPA. Total cost for my meal was 16.44 with tax. For one person to have lunch on a Sunday that seems like too much. The Big Chicken sandwich was so big that it was sticking out of the bread(made it hard to handle). However, the marinade was too salty and just ruined the flavor profile completely. The sweet potato fries were less than I expected considering the amount of money spent for them(very small portion). The beer was excellent, Busted Sandal does a great job of making excellent IPA and I love to support local establishments in SA. However, I would prefer that beer to be served in a pint glass instead of a plastic cup. I understand it makes clean up easier but when you are paying $ 4.25 you would expect that level of service. Sad to say that based on this experience and the cost I personally wont be returning.

Went to this place today at 5pm. My daughter and I had entire place to ourselves! Ordered the chalupa burger-it was good but I compared it to another place’s burger and it does not compare; still good though! It was beef, cheddar, pick and retried beans. I ordered a side of onion rings and there were only 5 tiny rings. Edible but not crave able.

First time here and must say it’s a place I’ll be back to! The Big Veggie was a large, well-seasoned portobello mushroom, incredible caramelized onions and fresh avocado on a whole wheat bun. Tomato, lettuce and onion on the side. It was melt in yo mouth good, but I added some of their basil mayo and landed in heaven! Also ordered at my table, the Chalupa Burger. We asked for«medium» and the meat was definitely medium rare… disappointing, but that didn’t stop us from munching down on that baby! Wow, just wow! Loved this perversion of a classic burger! Added some kick with chipotle mayo. French fries were average/good. The selection of beer and wine will keep you hydrated and soften the noise of kids having a good time. :)

Will it change your life? No. Is it worth the trip? Yes. I’d say it’s worth up to a 20 – 23 minute drive(one way, no traffic). Big’z makes a solid burger — the single is a generous ½ pound patty that was well prepared(juicy and delicious, if a little beyond medium) and a good selection of toppings. Beer selection was nice, and more than I expected. When I first walked into the ‘barn’ it felt like a McDonald’s on steroids, but it’s all a part of their schtick. Sweet potato fries were average. Nothing special, but not offensive.

The best burger joint that I’ve been to so far, when I eat another burger I compare it to this. The people that say this isn’t a good burger probably got their burger well done. I always get medium or medium well. Makes the burger juicier. Big yard for the kids to run around and cheap price for a ½lb burger. Also make sure you ask for different ketchup a when you get fries. They have a good variety. Habenero ketchup is the best

The food was mediocre at best, WAY overpriced and it gave BOTH my children food poisoning. To top it off, when I spoke to the OWNER, she was extremely rude and blamed it on their lunch(a turkey sandwich in which I ate as well), and then blamed it on the flu. It blows my mind that she cannot take responsibility for their food making my kids sick. Her«apology» was the most disrespectful, insensitive and fake thing I’ve ever heard. Being disrespected is so common these days, but for the owner of a restaurant to do that to a customer, that is absurd. God bless your heart. On a good note, I did have a manager call me back and apologize though. He was extremely kind. If I ever go back, it’s only because of him!

This place was huge, like a freaking barn and open field HUGE! All their burgers come in ½ lb angus beef, with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. They have a multitude of bread, but I just opted for plain old burger bun and it didn’t dissapoint. The patty was nicely seasoned and flavorful in every bite. My brothers loved the burger, that they wanted to eat it again later that night. I wish I tried the giant cookie … oh and don’t forget … make it «Dirty»

Good at what they do in a limited menu and minimal service. Burgers cooked to order many options available for custom preferences. Many specialty beers and wine options available. Self guided playground that provides running space and light parental supervision. Light weekday lunch crowd seems to suggest that their bread and butter is evening and weekend meals On my most recent visit I was really rattled to see a burger chef parading around behind the counter with an unpackaged phallic chub of beef below his belt line. At least 3 employees acknowledged him and his effort at lewd entertainment before he mixed it back into the mass of beef on the work surface. One sophomoric employee one occurrence. In a place that«likes it big and dirty». I should’ve known.
