Berg’s Mill Motel

Came here on the previous review and I was not disappointed. Talk about CLEAN!!! As for the condition of the room, a few items were removed such as the top draws of the desk and the toilet paper holder and a few of the covers on the electrical outlets. I arrived at 6 pm and they went out of their way to clean a just vacated room to accommodate my arrival. This is a one storied motel and family operated and therefore very small but along this road closer to the city are a number of other motels. A friendly owner family!!!

I did not enjoy my stay in this motel. My room smelled like paint the entire time. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. All the sheets and pillowcases smelled like bleach. The sheets also came off the bed every night. the microwave smelled bad and I saw one roach in my room the week I stayed.
During my stay, I develop unexplained tiny bumps on my face. My bf developed small itchy red bumps all over his back. We did not know what caused the bumps and became worse with each night we stayed. the bumps did not subsided until a few days after checking into another hotel.
The family who owns this motel is nice. I was allow access to their personal internet although the internet signal did not reach my room. Other requests were also accommodate for.
Free parking but this is san Antonio so parking isn’t really an issue
The weekly rate is cheap. However, one night cost 50 dollar so just a note of caution for those who want to stay a single night

Love this motel. Cheaper than a motel 6 and you get way more channel’s and a better bed. The towels are really small and thin so bring your own.
