Alamo Inn Motel

Unfortunately, this place looks nothing like the photos on other sites. The room smelled like smoke. Carpet was coming up. The king size bed had sheets that did not look or smell clean, they had holes and blood stains. The towels were dirty and yellowish again, with blood stains. There was a small bed on the side of the king size bed that the mattress looked to small for. The mini fridge was dirty and furniture was old broken and burn marks on everything!
The toilet was old and nasty with black marks. The shower/​tub was clogged up and mold on shower walls.
We were charged a deposit and where not allowed to check out until a housekeeper reviewed the room and call to the office to give the «ok». The t.v. was a old tube television… not a plasma.
We were The ONLY guest until about 3am when someone poor soul got a room next to us. It felt like the Bates Motel.
I didn’t see, nor would I want a free continental breakfast from this place.
So please avoid this place if you honestly can. This place does not even merit one star.

We (two single moms and four kids) booked two rooms before we left for a San Antonio zoo and family fun trip. The pictures looked nice and their were some decent reviews. We got their to find that it was in a questionable part of town and the rooms had bars on the windows. It was a filthy mess! NO WAY we were staying there with our kids. The «owner» refused to cancel the reservation stating that 3:00 was the deadline and it was 4:15. Had I been informed of that over the phone, I never would have reserved! I could not find information on a website that stated a cancellation time. Not only is the hotel an unsafe family dump, they customer service and management is rude. This place exploits anyone looking for a decent deal. In the end, I have a $ 164 charge for rooms we did not stay in for the safety of our children.

If you are a normal person DO NOT STAY HERE!
By far, the most digusting place, NOT JUST HOTEL, I have ever been to!
