Went in for an oil change and state vehicle inspection (Groupon deal). Within a few minutes of arriving, my car was in one of their bays and the mechanic had the hood up — all this without so much as a scheduled appointment (although I would definitely call ahead as my experience may be an anomaly).
It took probably 25 minutes for my car to get an oil change, a 32+ point inspection, and the state vehicle inspection. While waiting I was speaking with the manager who was more than willing to answer my questions — a very friendly fellow. The waiting area is smallish, no TV, but they do have a coffee pot and a bathroom.
