As a Unilocaler I think it’s our job to find those new mom and pop restaurants and give them a try. San Antonio has become overrun with chain restaurants everywhere you look. When I heard on KLUP we had another«New York Style» pizza option, I was in. I’ve only had the pizza, but it’s really good. The crust is thin and crispy on the bottom with the edge of the dough light, airy, and crispy. Ton’s of gooey cheese as well. It’s going to take some time to make it through the menu that also includes salads, Stromboli, calzones, and few entrees. The décor is not top notch, but hey, this is someones first pizza joint in San Antonio. Too many diners are looking for the perfect ferns and brass place. I’ll take good food at good prices any day. They even offer pizza by the slice for $ 2.95. It’s a big slice, almost ¼ of a large pie. They also offer a real cheap kids menu and kids eat free(10 and under with an adult ordering an entrée). I asked the owner and she told me this was her first restaurant in San Antonio. She married a military man years ago and ended up here in SA. Bada ‘Bings is closed Sundays — it’s okay. Being so small the owners spend all their days there and deserve a day of rest.
