Amy’s Hallmark Shop

No sight of an employee until I go to check out… I was on the search for musical cards appropriate for my grandmother who’s turning 90 (her vision is bad so a musical card is the way to go so she can enjoy it).
There was a pretty big selection however the music was like «twist and shout» or «the hamster dance» and similar cutesy choices. Nothing with plain old «happy birthday». Well there was … It was cats «meowing» the song :-/​
So then I began a search for simply worded cards since my parents would have to read it to her. Geeze, those were lacking too! They were all novels! I ended up picking the simplest card I could find, it is sparkly so hopefully she can see that… The inside has a simple message.
I did mention what I was hoping to find and the employee said she’d bring it up to the manager however they don’t pick or select the cards they sell (this is what the employee told me); she said the cards are just sent to them. She also informed me there’s another location on Bandera which is bigger so I’ll head there in the future. I had already been to 3 stores looking for a card so I settled with what I found today.
