Went there for records and the man in the record shop wasn’t really helpful and the records were kinda over priced. I recommend Hogwild records if you are looking for those specifically.

Warning! Extremely high prices! I will avoid this antique mall next time. They are not willing to negotiate on anything below $ 35. I won’t be back.

Large place with the floors of goodies. Lots of pretty jewelry which I ended up purchasing. I feel prices are generally high at antique shops, but they were actually relatively reasonable here depending on the item. There was one lady with lighter hair who was courteous and offered to help and another lady with dark hair who wasn’t quite as friendly. Would return.

The store is really big with tons of souvenirs to choose from. They have all your childhood toys like the toy wooden guns, Davy Crockett coon hat, boomerangs, etc. nice place to shop on if you are visiting The Alamo.

I am a 60 year old woman who went into this mall from work in a business suit to find my mother a Christmas gift. When I took a ceramic figurine to the woman at the cash register, she turned it over and stated that that could not be the correct price on the sticker. She then very rudely proceeded to question me regarding where I got it and were there any other ceramic figurines of the same type at that booth. The very clear insinuation was that I had swapped out a sticker from another figurine. She stated that that booth owner would never have that figurine for that price. I pointed out that there were several marks on it, and that was probably why it was lower. She very rudely said that she was going to call the booth owner and verify that that was the correct amount. When she couldn’t reach him by telephone, she huffed, puffed and glared at me before grabbing the figurine and going to talk to another employee. When she came back she said that she guessed she would sell it to me for that amount, but continued to make it clear that she thought I was a crook. Ironically, I got on ebay when I got home and found several of the same figurine for sale at lower prices. I have been antiquing for 40 years and have never been treated like that. Their items are overpriced, so I guess she couldn’t believe there was something that was reasonably priced.

We wandered in here while walking downtown and wow! They have everything! I loved seeing all the great Texas themed décor, jewelry and antiques. Don’t miss the third floor with all the antique chests, etc. Its like having a really awesome grandma with an attic full of everything cool. Note: They didn’t really want to bargain much on the cheaper stuff, but that’s fine…

I would say that it is possibly the only good antique mall is the downtown area(Riverwalk) part of SA. The selection all varies and there are some really good pieces here. Like rare mourning hair necklaces and lockets. I was in cloud 9 just perusing around. Prices are reasonable. Some stuff is not worth what is being asked. The only part that I found LAME was the service here. It’s customary to greet a customer when they come in, not here. The only friendly warmth I got here was when another lady rang me out and was very friendly. There was a a girl with her baby in here I assume hanging out with her mom who was the rude one that was behind the counter. Never was i greeted which I don’t honestly care. The thing that I found ridiculous was when I asked her to open a case so that I could possibly buy something. I was ignored and once she acknowledged me I felt like it was troublesome for me to ask her to pull out certain pieces. I bought a Victorian mourning pin and bounced. The lady who rang me up who I thought was the owner was much more pleasant. So, ya here sums it up. They are kinda cold here.

I visited this place recently with a couple of family members and let me tell you finding parking was a real pain in the bum! Let me warn you, if you’re planning a visit here, you better block off some serious time, you could easily spend 3 hours in here, there is that much stuff to look at! By the time I reached the third floor I had to pee so bad I barely made it to the front to ask for the directions to the loo! I mention this because the other Unilocalers said there isn’t a restroom. Oh but there is! It is located on the ground floor, far back left corner, hidden next to the Coke machine, & you don’t need a key! :D

Decent variety of slightly overpriced antiques and interesting goods. They had a great selection of books and old albums to spend some time browsing through. It is by the Alamo and in the middle of downtown along with your downtown one way streets that make it somewhat aggravating to navigate through if you are needing to find parking. Otherwise its worth visiting if you are on foot and hitting the other touristy spots down by the Alamo. Lots of texas memorabilia and other fun cowboy souvenirs to take home if you’re into that kind of thing. The 3rd floor seemed to hold a few more hidden treasures. I agree with Fawn G… please provide a restroom to your customers if you want them to take their time shopping. even if you need to tie a cowboy boot to the key.

Great place to find a unique gift for any occasion. 1st floor is great for antique china and jewlery. 2nd floor is fun for the comic/animation collector. 2nd floor also has vintage clothing for ladies. Love their handbags and hats! The 3rd floor is where the real treasures are not to mention Will Day’s ridiculously overwelming record collection. He has everything you’re looking for at a special price. The only thing this place needs is public restrooms, especially if they expect us to shop for hours(It’s easy to get lost with all the treasures)!
