Tried to go for lunch after learning Donutopia no longer serves phở. Waited for a seat to open up. Left after 15 minutes of waiting. Place is way too small for lunch. I’ll have to try it some other time and update the review with a different star rating.

Every time my fiancé and I come we order the beef phở and I get the phở with grilled shrimp. Tonight I came in alone and had the Curry Chicken Soup, I added rice noodles to it, OMGZ it was absolutely amazing! It reminded me a Noodle Curry dish I had in Honolulu, Hawaii!!!

First time ever here, must say a real gem. Food is great and service outstanding. Ask for Stephanie, very sweet and makes you feel at home. Must try if you haven’t been here. Will definitely come back when in town again. Two thumbs up from lali and Ismael(Tomball, Texas)

If you are looking for legit phở, great service, clean area, friendly staff, then this is the place. I have never had a bad experience there and their food is very tasty. I won’t go anywhere else for phở! Stephanie and Josh are the best wait staff.

This is the spot to go to for Vietnamese food. Great service and my favorite dish here is the Phở with brisket and meat balls. The staff is also great at explaining what the dishes are if you’ve never had Vietnamese food before so don’t be intimidated if you’re confused looking at the menu. I will definitely come back more often.

I love phở and other things Vietnamese(boba tea!) so I had to check out What Da Phở. They have consistently delicious phở and vermicelli bowls. Also, their customer service is great and the prices are me-friendly. The well done brisket phở is great with a couple swirls of sriracha!

I’d been waiting to try this place out. but Monday I finally did. I had the vermicelli with beef, my wife had the fried rice, and we started with the grilled pork rolls. Everything was freshly prepared and very good, and we’ll definitely be back to try out more of the menu.

Great phở and great service. Not as authentic as I’ve had in the past… But overall very yummy. If you’re looking for phở with tendon and blood, this is not your place… If your looking for a good broth base and friendly service, then this is the place for you. Their broths is one of the better ones I’ve had in my many phở experiences

First good phở I have found in this town. No seafood soup option and sometimes they are out of things like sprouts but the flavor is good and the staff are nice.

Lovely little Phở place in Angelo. Food is very decent, you can pick what kind of beef goes into you Phở. If you are a big beef eater, add extra beef for $ 1.75 is available. The service is excellent, waitress is quick, attentive and very kind. I asked for a cup to take the left over Thai ice tea to go, the sweet girl just made an extra one for me! Great experience after a long travel of 3.5 hours flight and 4 hours drive!

My wife and I came in for the first time today and had a good experience overall. Her fried rice was cooked very well and in a good portion, my lemongrass beef was cooked very well and the beef its self was very tender, you could tell itnhad been marinated for awhile. I know the experience will vary customer to customer, but keep in mind when visiting that management has changed hands and there might be changes for the better soon enough.

It’s good soup, but for Phở, it wasn’t served hot enough to wilt the bean sprouts and Basil leaves. I’m just happy there is a Phở place in San Angelo and will be back.

Well, I was looking forward to this place opening for a long time. Finally went, but was a little disappointed. I ordered the brisket phở and it was pretty tasty. There were a lot of items on the menu, but it seemed that over half of them were crossed out. The wait staff was horrendous. We had three waiters. It took about 15 minutes to get our water. We had to tell the three waiters that one guy in our group never received his food; all of us finished our meals before he ever even received his food. These are all issues that can be fixed(hopefully soon), so I will give them another try

The phở was good but the service was terrible. First we ordered spring rolls and they brought us egg rolls, when we told the server we ordered spring rolls he looked at us like we were crazy. Then my dad ordered the rice special with beef and he was brought a pork chop with a side of white rice. When we told the server that’s not what he ordered he said yes that is the rice special and pointed to what was written when they took our order. Then the icing on the cake was when they came to refill our waters and asked my dad what he had to drink. He had ice tea and the waiter took his cup to refill. When we got the bill they charged us twice for the ice tea. 1.95 for each glass. The staff was not friendly, got our order wrong twice, and then double charged us for the ice tea when we didn’t even ask for a refill.

Nice simple menu, great to have another place here in San Angelo that has Phở. The broth is good, the servers are pleasant, everything that you would want, nothing that you don’t. Unless you are really against new, interesting things, like the little white seaweed-type thing in my phở– it was delicious, and I didn’t ask. They have milk tea with boba, phở(chicken or beef), and fried rice(all the meats). Wider drink selection, I just don’t want to name off all the usual supsects(cola, tea, etc). Overall: great food, clean fresh interior, not too many tables, unique here.

I’m from the west coast and absolutely love phở. Since I moved here the places to choose from just didn’t have that authentic taste til now. What the Phở has brought a little eastern culture to San Angelo with excellent phở and spring rolls but the new little shop in town needs some growth and polishing. There was no experienced waiters or waitresses. No printed menus, and the prices were a bit high for the portion you receive. To truly wow the masses my only recommendation would be to find a fair price point and diversify the menu. The only phở they had was beef and i personally am more fond of the seafood variety. All criticisms aside it was a refreshing experience and will be returning.
