Very nice place! Very clean, equipment is in excellent condition, people are helpful and nice. Will definitely use The Wash Pot again!

Just what I was looking for, a laundromat to clean my comforter! They had the necessary machines and a very friendly helpful staff.

clean machines but dirty nasty attitude with the owner, grey hair woman. i learned my lesson last year about spending time and money within this laundry facilities. had several encounters with on duty staff. needless to say, i frequent the car wash next door, change machine encourages one to use the machine inside the laundry.
i proceded inside to get change for the vacumm and other misc, coin machine would not accept my $ 5. the grey hair approached me for help, before handing me my change, she interrogated me as too my business. i then stated i need this change for the car wash, she abrutly said, you cant wash your car. its about to rain! yes lady, im about to do as i plz with my coins, she followed me out the back door, stating she wanted to watch me wash my vehicle. who does that?
totally felt victimized and harrassed by this crazy ding bat!
never will i spend money at this laundry nor the car wash next door!

We have been using the Wash Pot for 15 years for ranch and personal use. After reading the one or two negative reviews I fell compelled to write a review in defense of the owners of the Wash Pot and shed light on why they do what they do. This is a family run laundry. They take pride in their business, keep a very clean environment and keep their machines in great shape. They have recently replaced and upgraded all of their machines. The owner or staff is always there to keep the place clean, safe and police the use of machines. San Angelo has many oil field workers. Oil soaked clothes is bad for machines and the next person using the machine will have soiled clothes. They watch for this and police it. They have machines dedicated only to oil field clothes. So just ask for them.
I guess some folks are used to laundromats where owners are not present, don’t care about their machines, leave the place trashy and dirty. The Wash Pot is NOT one of those places. So I don’t blame the owners for policing and not putting up with folks who don’t respect their machines and their rules.

very unprofessional. used their drop off service, but they would not tell us how much it cost until after the clothes had been cleaned. apparently they charge by the load and turned our one load of clothes into six. when asked why it was so expensive they basically threw us out and put us on a no service list, they then cussed at my wife as she was leaving, when challenged on why they cussed at her they said she must be on drugs because she was hallucinating. when confronted about the whole incident the owner screamed that my wife was lying about the whole incident and she was the one causing all the trouble. they admitted to having security cameras with audio but refused to allow the incident to be reviewed. on top of that our clothes were still wet, they said that was on purpose they didn’t want to over dry them. this place is a rip off, they over charge for drop off service, they are liars, and very unprofessional. if this is how they treat all their customers I don’t know how they stay in business. I would not recommend this laundromat.

As good as a laundromat can get, though would be even better if it were next to a bar. Clean. Staff available to help with any questions. Spotless bathroom.

The owner here, an older lady was so exceptionally rude! She yelled at me in front of other customers telling me that I was doing my laundry wrong (which I was not), physically pushed my boyfriend, yelling at him that he was over-​filling the washer when he was not, yelled at me to not «roll my eyes at her» which I did not because I am an adult 24 year old and not 6, and told us that if we didn’t like this then we should go down the street! As soon as our washing was done we left, we didn’t even dry! Horrible, horrible customer service. It is a wonder she even still has customers if this is how she treats them!

The lady there is very rude. She took my laundry out of the washer because she claimed it was oil field clothes when my husband doesn’t even work in the oil field. And than she had the nerve to turn around and talk bad about me while i was still standing there and to tell me I couldn’t wash there any more because I actually stood up for myself. She wouldn’t even let me dry my clothes because she was so mad that I proved her wrong. The other girl called me a b**** in front of other customers. Not the right way to run a business. I wouldn’t ever go back there. Before this I had seen this lady get in several arguments with other people for no reason. Very bad customer service and way too expensive for all the crap you have to deal with.

Lady was very rude brought my husbands work clothes and she comes up to me and ask if they were oil clothes I said yes she’s like your going to have to use these certain washers and wash twice in my option that’s oilfield robbery!

I’ve been in a lot of laundromat in San Angelo and this is the BEST option. washers are reliable, dryers are really good. Dora, the attendant is the best, great smile, good customer service and goes out of her way to save you money. Awesome. I am not from this area but I am here for work so I know I good laundromat when I see one. Don’t miss out.

I haven’t been to a laundromat in years and needed one close to my house so I came to this one. The other patrons were super helpful and I felt comfortable and safe. The lady on duty was also very cool; even when I accidentally caused a tiny flood from a string caught in the door of a front loader. People were friendly, facility was clean. I’d come back if I ever needed to use a laundromat again!

I’ve been everywhere in San Angelo and have yet to find another self-​service cleaners as good as this one. Place is super clean, plenty of washers and dryers to choose from. Washers range from 2.00−6.00. The washers are single, double, triple, and one maxi load that can handle 4−5loads in one wash. The dryers are a little old fashioned but get the job done just as good as any new ones.
They have central air conditioning, restroom, plenty of rolling washing carts, and a person on stand by to help with any needs.
I will definitely be coming back here to do laundry. Easy, fast, and plenty of selection!
