My husband had heard great things about this place from someone he knows. The guy raved about how it’s «so good and they have hood prices – can’t beat that!» Well, my husband talked about going here for at least a week. So, today he went out and got some. He just got back a little while ago with«Chocolate» and«Pistachio.» The chocolate one was so disgusting neither of us could eat it. It tasted nothing like chocolate and had a bunch of chopped nuts – no thanks! We tossed it. Then, he tried to eat the pistachio one, but didn’t like it and I, who doesn’t like actual pistachios actually found this one slightly more edible. I just threw half of it away. The only reason we bothered trying to eat any of it was because it was overpriced. For 8 bucks(for two little scoops), I’d rather have Coldstone where the icecream is actually good for the price.

Holy macaroni, this place is great. I’d been dying to go for so long now — and I definitely wasn’t disappointed! It’s just as good as everyone else on here says. I mean, really, homemade ice cream — how can you go wrong? The flavors were pretty conventional(the most out-there flavors they had were grape and grape-coconut, lol); I myself got to try the pistachio, and it was AMAZING — fresh, creamy, and the perfect texture. Please, as a favor to yourself, try this place at least once.

Even though I’ve only had the chance to go here once, I already dig this place. First plus is that it’s in the neighborhood. Maybe a minute away by car which is ideal those afternoons I want a sweet treat to beat the heat. Second thing it has going for it is that it’s not a chain so it’s like you’re exploring uncharted flavor territory each time you go in. I had a cup of the pistachio and my wife got a pecan bar and both really hit the spot. I need to get back and try what the person in line before me had — mango with some chili powder sprinkled on top. YUMFRIGGIN’ YUM!

In the one week I’ve been in this town, I’ve gone here about 4 times. I just love that it’s a non-chain homey shop with stuff we can’t get back home. We’ve tried the ice cream by the scoop, the ice cream & fruit bars and the drinks. My favorite is probably the cookies & cream ice cream bar, but I also really like the refreshing drinks I’ve had(some kind of mix of watermelon, pineapple, passionfruit and I dunno?) and the coconut/blackberry ice cream scoop I had was good too. The only off putting thing is that the drinks & flavored ice creams seem to involve a liberal use of food coloring. And there’s definitely no skimping on the sugar in anything… But generally I’m just really glad I found this place because it’s a real gem in this town!

Everything here from the strawberries drizzled with cream to the handmade ice cream to many other lovely treats are just wonderful! Why go to some ice cream chain store and get ice cream that’s how old(?), when you can get fresh, locally-owned, hand-made ice cream and other treats here?! YUMMMMM!
