The Waterford Wellness Spa

This one of my favorite places. I have had a variety of services with Botox and Juvederm being my favorite due to the immediate satisfaction. I also get my bare minerals there.
It was just recently remodeled and it is beautiful. you feel so special while there.

I recently had a massage here and it was wonderful. Will definitely be returning! So glad my husband found this place and surprised me with a visit.

Poor customer service. Rude receptionist. Piss poor attitude. Purchased a Facial for my mother and she was treated as a second class citizen.

Just had my first waxing (brazilian) with Donna at Waterford Wellness Spa. Not only was the salon clean and everyone pleasant, but they also sell great products and have cute accessories available. Donna was professional, yet she made me feel very comfortable. She took the time to be sure I understood waxing (I’ve been waxing for 5 years) but she wanted to be clear on anything that could cause issues after the waxing. It is obvious she is knowledgeable about waxing and is sure to make it a good experience. I would recommend anyone to come here for any services, but especially to see Donna for waxing.

I’ve started doing laser hair removal with Thana and so far it is AWESOME! You will most likely have to do multiple treatments before the hair is totally gone. But I will tell you that after my first treatment on my underarms, I didn’t have to shave for OVER a month! Win! I just had the second treatment so we’ll see what happens next!
I will still attest to the fact that I would never trust anyone other than Pam Medlin for my permanent cosmetics. She is such a perfectionist — there’s no way anyone else could do as good a job. She always makes sure she has the right color for your skin tone/​hair and that everything matches and balances to look very natural. She’s given my incredibly straight eyebrows a perfect arch! Her facials may be painful sometimes, but they are very productive and totally worth it! My skin is always glowing when I leave!
Then there’s all the gifts at the front… Ugh. I always want everything! Last time I was in, I ended up with two bracelets, earrings, a candle, and some yummy lip balm. And that means that I wouldn’t let myself buy the pajamas and make-​up bag I wanted! I use Bare Minerals cosmetics so it’s always easy to grab that while I’m there too. And as far as I know, it’s the only place in San Angelo that offers it. (I’m not totally sure on that tho…)
Overall, I totally love the Waterford! I wish I could spend more time there! I’m always in need of a massage or a facial or some laser or something… Thanks ladies!

Got a Brazilian wax done by Donna. Terrible. Missed spots, didn’t pull the hair the right way causing it to break at the skin. What’s the point of getting a wax if your going to have to shave tomorrow and more than likely get ingrown hairs? After telling Donna I studied in the past to be an esthetician, after I mentioned that she stopped arguing with me and comped the wax. I give her points for that.

I would defiantly recommend seeing Heather Poe at the Waterford. She does my facials and pedicures, and has the sweetest personality. She will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy. I have also had a massage there as well and it was fantastic!

On my third visit to The Waterford I was very pleased! Even though the body polish is not normally offered on the weekends, the girl who does them agreed to come in on a Saturday so I could have a body polish. The front desk staff was super helpful in scheduling a time for me to come in and I was grateful they would work with my schedule.
The body scrub was SPECTACULAR. Oh my word. My skin felt like satin… the only complaint I had was I can’t buy the scrub to take home with me! That’s okay though, it’s nicer to have someone else put it on me. I called a couple days later to schedule one for my husband and he loved it too. You must try this at least once!

I came here for a makeup appointment on my last day of military service in San Angelo. Everyone was very kind, and my makeup lasted from my noon appointment until I finally landed home in Wisconsin at midnight. This was a great place, a friendly staff, and if I lived in the area I would absolutely return here!

This place was definitely overpriced!!! Do not go here!
I will say the only person I enjoyed at this place that was great at what she did was the woman that did my permanent eyeliner…
I agree with summer… take heed and consider yourself forewarned… Donna will screw your face up! She’s also awful at facials because I too had major issues with acne. I don’t know why Lauren would deem her «best waxer» or whatever because her ghastly attempt and waxing my eyebrows left me looking like Bert from the Sesame Street. Not to mention recently attended a tattoo convention out here and everyone there stated she would leave scars after any tattoo removal she attempted. You want a good waxer? Go to Candice at the Palladian spa… great prices. I personally could careless about listening to a woman speak about her whole life well I’m trying to relax and get a facial so I can totally relate to you Summer. Marilyn was usually rude to me, however the other woman at the front desk is usually warm and friendly.
Honestly everyone needs to quit getting hurt about comments left on Unilocal… the whole point is to warn other users and give them advice or tell them what to expect REGARDLESS of constructive or destructive… they should know the HONEST truth… not a fluffed up candy laced truth.

Raters beware! The esthitician I wrote about had her daughter make a profile and emailed me in private about the review I left. If you leave anything honest that’s negative I’m sure shell do the same to you!
As for you Lauren… of course you’re gonna write a good review about your mother… don’t be offended when someone writes an honest review… that’s what the whole point of Unilocal is… to warn users not to come here unless they want crappy service! You have no right to judge me as a mother or family person just because I could care less to hear a whole life story when I’m getting a facial…
Be a big girl Lauren and face the facts… your mom needs to get a new job!
