Secret Vinyard Day Spa

I came there today for the first day and had the tranquil day package. Package included facial, feet and massage. Truly the best spa experience I’ve ever had. The whole package was great I had Christina for the facial feet and hands and Kayla for my message and both these ladies know what they are doing, I had already made an appointment for another massage and i can’t wait to go back. Really truly a relaxing beautifully done experience.

I received a gift certificate (which came packaged as a message in a wine bottle –cute!) here that included a Theravine facial, a hand & foot ritual & a shampoo, blow dry & style for my hair.
The shampoo, dry & style was good. She asked what style I wanted and created it easily & quickly. She was also pleasant to chat with, I believe she is the only one who does hair for the salon (although I’m not totally sure!).
The facial was nice — similar to other facials I have had, but wouldn’t rank among the better ones. Nothing in particular, just not as amazing-​feeling. The hand & foot treatment was done simultaneously as my facial, so I felt a little rushed on that. Perhaps I was not being rushed, but they did call me the day before my appt to try to push the time back, however I wasn’t able to come in later so they said they would make it work. Then, when I arrived she said the facial and the hand/​foot would be done at the same time. It just seemed rushed and I was looking forward to a long relaxing set of treatments at the spa (I don’t get days like that too often!) the hand and foot treatment wasn’t anything fabulous, but it wasn’t too bad… the warm towels were nice because I’m always cold no matter where I go!
I guess the true test for me is to ask, «would I have been satisfied if I had PAID for these services?» Which is fair to ask since getting something for free can sometimes effect your judgement.
To answer that, I would have been satisfied for the hairstyling but I think I honestly would have been slightly disappointed by the facial + hand/​foot combo.
Aside from the treatments themselves, the house the spa is located inside of is super cute and looks newly decorated/​designed inside. Furthermore, the two women who worked on me were both pleasant and friendly! Customer service goes a long way in a small town!
Thus the 4 stars, because it is slightly better than average in my comparison against other local spas. The value of services is reasonable, but the ambiance and the employees took what was maybe average and brought it up a notch, which is exactly how good businesses are run!
