My second time here and was just as good as I remember. Didn’t take pics this time but all the food was really good. They also had a wine selection that I didn’t know about. Always enjoy this place. Great service as well.

Food and service are excellent. Best sour cream enchiladas I have had. Kids had the Sasha special for$ 7 and it was delicious. Great atmosphere and staff.

Living in Florida for 16 years, I have missed the real taste of great Mexican food! This is the place! Went in and said«I’m looking for something spicy and good. «waitress picked up my menu and said«I got it». She came back with the New Mexico style enchilada. Wow! Outstanding! Hot, flavorful, delicious! Was only in town for 48 hours and went there twice! Service was great! Thanks for great food!

Would give no stars if possible. Sat on patio and received the worst service I have ever experienced. Wrong food brought out, waitress didn’t check back on table for over 20 minutes, regardless of us trying to get her attention. No drink refills offered for 20 minutes. No chip refills offered at all. Told waitress we weren’t paying for any food since half the order was wrong, she said she’d get manager and disappeared again. Waited 5 minutes, nobody came so we left. Will never return or suggest to anyone. If it was truly busy I would understand, it was definitely not.

I was in San Angelo for one day and had lunch here! This bustling restaurant was fast and friendly. The chicken enchiladas were delicious. I decided to pop into the bakery that shares the parking lot and had the BEST gluten free monster cookie ever! We will definitely be back to both the restaurant and the bakery!

Finally was able to get over to the Mexican restaurant that everyone in town has been telling me to try… First off the location and building is a little run down, but the staff was incredibly welcoming and nice. Salsa and chips are darn good. Not hot by any means but has a great flavor and the chips have an excellent texture that tends to be a little thicker then other places. I was very excited to try the New Mexica Style Enchiladas… Anything with an egg in top is always my first choice… Well as excellent as it tasted, I had to trade dishes with my husband because it was too spicy. And by spicy I mean SPICY! It’s a good spice that actually has a taste to it and isn’t just hot for the pure fact of being hot, and I so wanted to be able to have more and kept stealing little bites off of the plate but each time my tongue said … No! Overall good first impression and good food!

Stopped by for much with a group of six. We were immediately greeted the bowls of warm chips and tasty salsa. Serve was fast and friendly. I had the enchiladas Monterey which were three chicken enchiladas with a cheese sauce and pico de gallo. Tasty! Would definitely order again. Rice was well spiced and nicely cooked. Only thing that would improve upon the dish would be to add a scoop of guacamole!

We ordered Huevos Rancheros and Migas Ala Mexican, with coffee and an iced tea. Both plates were good sized for the price. The Huevos were over easy with a rich red sauce. The Migas were crispy with scrambled eggs and tomatoes and fresh japs. Both plates were served with beans, potatoes, fresh salsa verde and our choice of corn, flour, or toast. Very tasty! We’ll be back the next time we’re in San Angelo.

Great little Mexican café. I’m from CA and found this place place on Unilocal. It’s super busy and it looks like they are expanding their patio to be indoor. We took it to go and they got our order right!

Ate here for lunch and it’s pretty good. Had the three colour enchiladas that were flavourful, but not overbearing. This is San Angelo and the Mexican food is targeted to on Anglo pallette. Over all it is good food, great service and cold beer. There are many worse yet few better.

We found this place on Unilocal.Read the reviews decided to give it a try. It has a nice out door patio, cozy and inviting. The inside is small but perfectly fine. You seat yourself. I ordered the chicken fajitas. One word. Delicious. Husband had the pork chops, he said they were the best pork chops he has ever had. Chips were hot and tasty. Salsa was good. They have wine and beer only. I had a few pinto grigio’s. Good pour, cold and refreshing. Mostly a local place. I’d recommend this place to anyone. Nothing fancy. Nothing very pricey. All just good tasting Mexican food.

I have never had the experience of hearing a song that plays in my head as food touched my tongue before. I sat down in this Mexican restaurant with no clue how satisfied I would be when I left. I’ll never forget I was sitting watching football when a simple chips and salsa arrived at the table. That was when I first heard beautiful music being played to me. The salsa tasted like they had just picked the tomatoes and herbs then freshly mixed it together and placed it on the table. When I received my shrimp fajita plate. A similar experience happened. No music this time, just a separation from the present surroundings and I was now only present with this plate of food. I am saddened that I may never be in Sam Angelo again. But if I do, I know where my first stop will be! So delicious!!!

Not the best. I’m from Southern California and this isn’t at all as good as Mexican food in California. Maybe texmex isn’t my thing.

Best authentic hole in the wall Mexican food around here. Got the Carne Asada and it was delish. Refried beans were very tasty as well as the guacamole. Prices are very reasonable and service was excellent.

Small hole in the wall… hidden treasure. The absolute best pork chops on the planet!!! Love pork chop Thursday! Great outdoor covered patio with tv and fans for those hot days! We have always had great service with friendly people there. We’ve never had a problem since we’ve been going which is about four years. Gets busy at lunch so we Marie sure we are they right at 11!

This place is a staple in the San Angelo Mexican food game. Now, they have a beautiful patio! The food is great, and they have Dos Equis Ambar, unlike most places. Pork carnitas, fajitas, and chile rellenos are fantastic!

I went with a group to have dinner. I asked the waitress about accommodating my gluten free diet —(as a result of celiac not just me thinking I have to eat gluten free.) She reported back that EVERYTHING has flour in it with the exception of one fish soup. DONOTCOMEHEREIFYOUAREGLUTENINTOLERANT. the others in my group enjoyed there meal — the waitress really was quite unhelpful and was really just trying to rush us out.
