We really enjoyed the food. I was able to have a California eggs Benedict and my husband had meatloaf. We both got a half portion which was enough for both of us. Our daughter had the kids chicken strips which were 2 meals. The staff was friendly despite us getting there close to closing which was much appreciated. I would say the décor is inviting and complements what was served!

People on the plateau are such lemmings. This place is so below average yet sheeple rave about it. I’ve been here twice now for lunch and BOTH times it smells like a mildewy mop or sour dishcloth. Very off putting thing to walk through the door and smell that. Both times service was prompt and very friendly. Food: sub par. Had and omelette the first time and the Asian chicken salad the second time. Identical in taste, imagination and quality to Denny’s or I– hop yet priced too high for what you get. Too bad.

My wife and I eat here at least once or twice per week. Everything that we have ordered here has been outstanding! Some of our favorites have been the pot roast, California omelette, bacon cheeseburger, almond crunch french toast, and blackberry pie! Mmmmm, it’s all so good! Normally we come during the week, there is no line and the waitresses are always so nice! We only encountered a line here once on a Saturday afternoon, where there were a number of local high school students in attendance.

This place is the perfect little diner! We have had a hard time finding a good diner style restaurant that does more than breakfast so we decided to try this one. Really great down home comfort food, super cute décor and amazing service. We will definitely be back!

I have been coming here since they opened. I LOVETHISPLACE. I have yet to order something there that wasn’t amazing. I only get breakfast there, so I cannot speak about their lunch and dinner options. My favorites are the California omelette, and their buttermilk waffles. My brother loves the breakfast quesadilla. Hint: if you’re going there in a party of 2, the bar is first come first serve, so you can usually skip the line! This place is always very busy, but I have never waited more than 20 min.

Cozy relaxed atmosphere, great food, friendly staff. Very kid friendly too! My 2.75 year old daughter loved her kids meal and the provided cup of crayons for coloring and activity filled kids menu kept her occupied while our orders were being prepared(it didn’t take long!) This is a nice spot for brunch or dessert with friends and family. A little pricey but the portions are generous.

Came here for the first time and had an early dinner. I had a veggie scramble that was so good! I could only eat half so I’m looking forward to eating my leftovers in a few minutes. Hubs had the fried chicken. He said it was good.

I’ve only been here once, but it was a good experience. The $ 10 certificate they mailed for moving to the area got me in the door. The pie was amazing. I will definitely be back for more. I had a French dip and have no complaints. The atmosphere was homey and seemed good for families.

Super expensive & just ok. I think $ 100 for breakfast for 5 is a little outrageous, esp when everything we ordered was just your standard breakfast fare. Nothing fancy & certainly nothing that I will be rushing back to eat anytime soon.

Sooo Gooood. This is my favorite breakfast place, you should try egg Benedict with crab cake. Clean, nice friendly stuff. Sometimes you have to wait a while but it’s understandable us they are super busy.

Bottom Line: Addictingly delicious food. Update: This week I visited the café and like the complete dingbat I am, I left my wallet at home. I realized this after I ordered… about 20 seconds after the order was submitted to the kitchen. I quickly alerted my waiter, but right after I suggested that she cancel the order and I come back later, she waved her hand in the air. She said she would cover the transaction until I could return later in the day to pay the bill, and that I should stay and eat my food. I’ve never had this happen before. I’m generally a responsible adult, but I was having a very bad day. It was embarrassing to say the least. Despite the uncomfortable situation this waitress made me feel welcome. This is probably an incorrect use of the word but its the one that comes to mind. The waitstaff of Sammamish Café have integrity. They are decent individuals. Or, as some of my elderly family members would say they are ‘good people’. Please readers do not take advantage of their good will, but instead support it with your custom. It is a wonderful restaurant, staffed with a small portion of humanity’s finest. Perhaps they aren’t the fastest, or the strongest, but they are among the most compassionate. Note: As she suggested I ate, then ran home for my wallet, and back to pay the bill. Thank you Sammamish Café, I’ll try to never do that again.

If you need a place to get while in Sammamish this is it. Breakfast all day long, pie for after dinner dessert and old school milkshakes where they give you the leftovers. There is never a wait and the food is also pretty good. My husband and j recently moved to the area and we even got a gift certificate from the restaurant welcoming us to the neighborhood who was really nice. They make turkey dinners, burgers, biscuits and gravy and everything in between.

I thought I would try breakfast yesterday Ordered eggs Benedict Awful… They used fried eggs? Hash browns were dry and over cooked the hollandaise sauce was none existent Also I ordered a small orange juice This cost me $ 20 plus a tip The service was cold and impersonal Last time I will ever go Over rated and overpriced and horrible food P. s. A slice of tinned black olive is not a garnish it’s just embarrassing.

The service was great — we came in early enough to miss the morning breakfast rush and were seated immediately. Coffee was refilled expeditiously — a quality in breakfast café’s that I always seek out. Our waitress was very attentive and warm. Loved the service! The meal was disappointing. The butter on my toast tasted the way garbage smells… I know… weird comparison — but it was gross and I love sourdough bread… win/lose I suppose — good for my diet that I didn’t eat it… bad for my taste buds. My omelet was strange; which I know isn’t really descriptive… the syrup for the French toast was literally watered down… yes, I said literally. The café is part of a local chain of cafes — which I suppose comes with the territory of mediocre food. But alas… we are looking for our go-to breakfast«spot» — and haven’t found it with the Sammamish Café…bummer!

My team mates and I had some intense indoor training last Sunday. We were super hungry and ready to eat. 4 of us drove here and started ordering good stuff on the menu. The one in Woodinville, Sammamish and several other ones are in a local chain I believe. They have awesome breakfast and brunch menu as well as pies and Cinnamon buns. This time, I ordered a half size beef hash brown and a slide of berry pie with ice cream on top. It was very good. Corn beef was good with some crispy hashbrown. I love their pie! Friendly staff and great service. Friends and I all enjoyed the post workout meal!
