First time try Mt. Olympus waffle. Love it! It smells and tastes so good! I love the texture of the waffle. Although it is not the most popular choice, I would definitely highly recommend to everyone.

Waffle’s are good! I like the savory better than the sweet ones and the Benny is great. Very nice on a warm day.

Saturday’s Waffle is not what it used to be. Been visiting this truck for the last couple of years & used to rave about them. My last few visits were underwhelming. Typically order the Benny, last 2 visits they were out of eggs. First time was about 30 minutes before close, disappointing but understandable. Next time I made sure to go earlier. Once again, 2 hours before close they’re out of eggs. Managed to not state the obvious that they’re parked in a grocery store parking lot, which I’m sure is fully stocked with eggs. Today was my last visit. Avocado & the Sundance Kid was the special & my absolute favorite! Went at 10 hoping they would still have it(& eggs). Still fully stocked but would have been better off without it. The box was noticeably lighter than usual, discovered when opened it’s because they skimped on toppings. The small amount of avocado was going bad. The actual waffle was stale & dry with not nearly enough syrup. The only positive were the guy’s working today were all friendly & happy to be there even in the snow. Not sure what’s going on but it’s disappointing & opposite of past experiences. One time I got there with a friend as they were closing the owner went out of his way to scrape together 2 waffles for us with the ingredients he had left, they were both amazing & tasted fresh. Last time I talked to the owner he seemed distant & uninvolved. Sad since they all used to be so amazing.

Good, but definitely lacking in flavor. I had a waffle with strawberries, which was fine. The waffle itself was lacking in flavor… a little sweeter would have been nice.

It pains me a great deal to only give this place 2 stars. I have only been twice. The first time I went, the truck seemed to be run by the owners whom were both learned and friendly. The menu, service, and product were actually quite wonderful. The waffle was tasty, fresh, and the theme I chose had great flavors that accented the well done waffle very well. The portion size was quite small but for the quality of the product, didnt mind spending the $ 7 – 9 per serving. I was anxious to return and found the opportunity to do so very recently and was so very disappointed. What an opposite experience. The truck was no longer filled with the learned crew but with a teenage crew. That by itself isn’t a negative, however, this staff was obviously not well trained and really had little care for the product they put out. I ordered 3 different waffles off the menu, each and every one of which were obviously made hours, if not a day before. They were cold, hard, and extremely dry. The toppings were ok, but coudl not come close to making up for the substandard main ingredient. It was not even choke downable. We threw away our almost $ 30 worth of breakfast having only eating one to two bites out of each before giving up. I let the gal know that took our money that the waffles were dry and cold and she let the staff know whom were preparing the food but never offered any compensation as in money back or coupon to come back from a free try at it once again. That’s just a basic for customer service when the business has obviously faltered in a big way. I won’t be back. The new product could be the reason there was no line too. I remember well the long line I stood in in the cold when I was there previously(been a year) for that sweet sensation. No wait now. No wonder.

Being a huge fan of liege waffles I have been excited to give this truck a try! To compare it to other waffles I’ve enjoyed I got my usual waffle with whipped cream and chocolate. It was quite good! The waffle wasn’t super piping hot but it was warm. The outside was crisp –and the inside was a little fluffier than chewy — but still an overall good liege waffle. There were fewer little crunchies in the dough and I found that the flavor of the waffle was a little more yeasty as well. I will be sure to look for them again and try a specialty waffle. The service was great. Friendly and fast.

Amazing texture and flavor. I have had the berry waffle, the peach waffle, the lumberjack and the pumpkin praline. It’s the only food truck I’ve ever tracked down. That liege waffle is the best.

Top Quality Waffles I’ve passed this cute trailer numerous times in the Olympus Hills Shopping Center. The lines have always been too daunting to attempt one of these waffle concoctions. We passed by at 8:00am this morning just as they opened up, so we decided to give them a try. WOW! The Bananas Foster waffle was superb. Perfectly cooked, light and crunchy. Nice banana topping with syrup and whipped cream. The cooks all wore white shirts and bow ties — nice touch. We will be back to try their other inventive waffle selections.

The Peach Cobbler Waffle was absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to go back! Love when they are at SoHo Food Park!

Literally, we came here on a Saturday and it was parked over by Olympus Hill Shopping center. We wanted to get breakfast and this was the perfect place. It faces the Wasatch Blvd and it gets pretty packed around 10 – 11. So, come early and try out their benny or Maple Bacon. Personally, I would recommend the maple bacon because it comes with plenty of bacon and it is plenty savory. The maple whipped cream goes well with it and its just an awesome dish. Their drink option was limited but, their coffee was adequate. Its cheaper version of Bruges but, with extra meat. I would definitely come here again if I am in the area.

ONLY recommend the MAPLEBACON, savory or BANNAFOSTERS, sweet… I L.O.V.E. Those two! I discovered this gem right before moving to AZ. Now, every time I come back, I go out of my way to find this truck! The Benny is so so. I’d only eat it if someone bought it for me. I got a Benny last time and was sad/disappointed because it could’ve been a maple bacon or BANaNA fosters instead. Still 5 stars because those two waffles are totally worth it!

Sorry fans, but what a disappointment! After hearing rave reviews and recommendations from family and friends, I finally got a chance to try out Saturday’s Waffle. I knew just what to try too: their popular«Benny,» a $ 7 Eggs Benedict waffle. I love Eggs Benedict(it’s probably my favorite breakfast). I anticipated a creamy, buttery hollandaise sauce and a perfectly poached egg… my mouth watered as I took my first bite. The sauce was overwhelming… it reminded me of Sriracha mayonnaise(with lemon, loads of lemon… enough citric acid to actually cause a burning sensation in my throat). I couldn’t taste anything else, and not a sign of a tender poached egg under that thick«sauce» and a pile of bacon(extra star for the generous portion of decent bacon). Anyway, I continued on a few more bites hoping to find that«perfectly poached egg.» No dice. A couple more bites and I found a hair(not my color)…and still no egg. I persisted on, every bite tainted by the lemony Sriracha mayo with a hint of bacon(I’m not even sure what the actual waffle tasted like). It took me a while to get to about the middle, where I finally found a… wait for it… single, *fully cooked* egg(this definitely needs at least two eggs). So disappointing. I threw the rest away. Maybe it was an off-day, I don’t know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. In any case, at $ 7 a pop I won’t be going back. +1 star for the service(the guy in the truck was nice and it took only a couple minutes to get my order… which actually makes me wonder if portions of the meal weren’t previously prepared), and +1 for generous bacon. Sorry Saturday’s Waffle, I really wanted to like you…

I ordered the Poutine and I was not impressed. Everything was cold, including the gravy and the cheese was in hard chunks. I was not impressed.

I came here having great expectations, because I’ve had some amazing liege waffles in my life, and these looked like they would be just as good. I was let down. I have been to two other liege waffle places before, and made my own in the past, and these would be on the bottom of my list. I ordered the s’mores waffle. It seemed more like a run of your mill normal waffle, with okay toppings. nothing fancy, I would not go out of my way to have this place again, nor would I recommend it over some of the other liege waffle places here in Utah.

Tried this place at the Opening Night in Sugarhouse and I thought they had a pretty good waffle. It wasn’t the most amazing waffle I’ve had, but I don’t have complaints, either. I appreciated it not being a paper thin waffle, and it had good texture; crisp outside and fluffy inside. I’d try more of their concoctions sometime.

Back in the day you paid $ 5.00 for one, $ 8.50 for two. Or something like that. Now you get one for $ 7.00, two for $ 14.00. One is enough. The Liege waffle is yeast risen, sort of like the Savior only without the yeast and in one third the time. When they’re out of waffles, they’re out. They have a second location at Furniture Row in Draper. They also do catering, kids’ parties, etc. I’m a big fan of the bacon/maple sauce/crème fraîche. My youngest loves the bananas foster. There are lots of other options. We simply stick with what we know and like. Yes, super boring and never disappointed. Judge a lot, do you? Anyway, this is a quality waffle with quality toppings. $ 7.00 is a fair price and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it go up a buck or two at some point in the future. The ambiance really sucks. I mean, the trailer is adorable, the staff and their little uniforms are awesome! They used to have a really loud and obnoxious generator in the back of their truck which is now much more tolerable. But at the end of the day, you’re sitting there on a chair you brought, on a curb, tailgate or asphalt in the middle of a friggin(Utah County term — I have relatives there). parking lot! Take your food south to the Churchill Jr. High School parking lot. Back up to the west end, lower your tailgate or open a folding chair. Take in the unobstructed vista that is the entire Salt Lake Valley and enjoy the best waffle anywhere!

I adore this truck. First off they knew me by name because I follow them on Instagram and they always greet me enthusiastically. The food is also great. I love that they offer savory and sweet waffles. The Benny is my favorite. I also really enjoyed the Caprese. You can’t go wrong with the waffle fries either!

The waffles here are Amazing. We tried the Benny, lumberjack, and lemon curd ones. All the waffles were cooked perfectly and the flavors worked really well. The lumberjack was my favorite. Perfect for a quick breakfast on a weekend if you don’t want to wait an hour and half to get a table.

This morning at work our company had Saturday’s Waffle Truck come and make us breakfast!!! I had the Benny Waffle, it’s a savory waffle with a soft egg on it and covered in hollandaise sauce(perfect and lemony) and BACON! The wonderful surprise was the sweetness of the sugar crystals inside of the waffle. Shear PERFECTION!!! I need a nap now!

If you love waffles or like waffles, hell even if you don’t care for waffles, you need to try this place! I am officially proclaiming my love for Saturday’s Waffle! A food truck like no other, Saturday’s Waffle always leaves me wishing I had more. They do not make a traditional American Waffle but rather make Liege waffles which have little sugar crystals cooked inside the waffle. When you are eating it you will get tiny crunches of sweetness with each bite and it is great. They offer savory options like an eggs Benedict waffle as well as the sweet. And they offer specials too. My husband recently had The Blarney which came with corned beef and a perfectly poached egg. My favorite is the bacon waffle with syrup that has a touch of spice. For me it is the perfect combo of sweet and savory. As for my son, he LOVES the Smore waffle. It comes with chocolate and speculoos sauce as well as a toasted whip cream on top. Yes it makes him a little sugar crazy but he loves it. There are so many other great options that I am excited to try like the Urban Lumberjack or the Caprese waffle. I have hears they are now serving chicken and waffles too! Honestly, you need to give this place a try.
