Litza’s is not cheap. And you’re not necessarily getting what you pay for. But it is good – not lacking in any area – and the atmosphere is really nice. They have a «Meal for 2» deal that gets you two slices of garlic bread(made with Texas Toast, not French bread), two salads, a small two-topping pizza and two drinks for $ 23.50. For another $ 3, you can upgrade to a medium pizza. For the price, you’d think they could throw in a few upscale perks and unlimited garlic bread, but it ends up being the kind of pizza you’d expect at any non-franchised pizza hole in the city. When they serve it, it’s basically a good 3-star pizza. Here’s my advice: take it home and refrigerate it for several hours. The result will be an exponentially better flavor; a 5-star pizza without a doubt. Cold Litza’s Pizza is probably my favorite food. I’ve never had to wait for a table here, and the Hire’s root beer is pretty good. They’re worth a visit.

The salad was crisp and the dressings are delicious. The garlic bread is on buttery toast and toasted just right with the right amount of garlic. The pizza was hot when delivered and was loaded with toppings and very tasty. The waitress was friendly, kind, patient and explained the menu perfectly. If you are in the Salt Lake area, I would definitely refer you to Litza’s pizza! We love it and go there every time were in Salt Lake City.

I’ve been a customer since Litza’s first opened. It was inexpensive, and excellent. It was a favorite place to go when I was a young man, and dating. I took my fiancé there. We married and we took our kids there, and a grand daughter. Things have changed in the last year or so. Prices are up to the point we just can’t go there as often as we once did. The recent remodel makes the inside look unfinished. The floor is nice, though. We have already found one other place that is affordable, good food, and plenty of it. I have a lot of history at Litza’s and regret seeing these changes.

You won’t need to drink 4 gallons of water after eating this pizza due to the fact that you won’t have consumed 17 grams of sodium ahem the pi.

Pizza was tasty, especially on a cold day. I appreciate that they made a tomato basil pizza for me, considering it was not on the menu. Loved the ambiance. One frustrating part was how long it took to get our food. It seems that they might have been short-handed when we came in for lunch, at least I hope so, because it was almost 40 minutes before we got our meal. Kids were hangry and almost left.

It’s not bad, but it’s never my 1st choice for pizza. I think most people go here out of habit and nostalgia. I’d rather eat next door at Hires & I’m NOT a burger person. I will say the service is usually great. The waitress we usually get is always on top of things & very nice.

I’ve been coming here once a month for over 30 years and it’s still my favorite pizza spot. Even if there’s just two of you, get the«Dinner for More» deal(with the Roquefort dressing!) and then freeze the leftovers(cook for about ten minutes at 400 degrees and it tastes just as good as freshly baked). The service is always quick and friendly, some of the servers have worked here for 20+ years and they always recognize us.

I am in love with this pizza! The garlic butter sauce… it’s probably just garlic and butter but it just tastes so good on a pizza topped with mozzarella, and the cheese is so stringy and the crust is so flavorful… I could go on and on. I like the look of the place as well. I’d like some windows, but the food still tastes good without them.

I’ve never met a pizza I didn’t like… although, if I didn’t love it I usually don’t go back for more because there are other places I enjoy more. Litzas isn’t at the top of my list but they didn’t disappoint and we will most likely be back! Good place to go with your fam, decent prices, great service and everyone was very friendly. We are in a pizza coma!

I’ve been eating here for decades; my parents first brought me here when I was a wee lad and we were up here from Arizona, visiting family. Maybe my childhood memories bring more to this review than they should, but I absolutely love Litza’s Pizza. It’s my go-to pizza joint when out of town friends come to town, even from as far away as France. First off, yes. The garlic bread with a side of ranch to dip in is as close to heaven as you can possibly imagine. It’s my #1 comfort food, and I always make sure I have at least two slices when I’m in the restaurant. My wife and I usually get the dinner special for 2, and upgrade to a medium garlic cheese pizza, with italian sausage on half. If you love the garlic bread, you’ll die over the garlic cheese pizza. Be warned, though, it’s a heart attack waiting to happen and because of the butter and cheese, you’ll go through several napkins sopping up the grease from the top of the pizza. Lime rickeys or apple beer are the perfect compliment to the pizza. A cold mug of Hires root beer does not go amiss either. You’re not here to lose weight or have an ok diet meal, this is a pizza joint. You come to get sauce on your face and a belly full of deliciousness and that’s what they deliver, in spades. God Bless Litza’s Pizza.

This is my favorite pizza place. I love everything about it! The pizza is great, salads are awesome, my kids love the garlic bread. The service is so friendly. I like simple pizza so this truly is my favorite in the valley. The old décor was bad but it was still fun. New décor is nice.

I frequently go to Litza’s for lunch. While I don’t think their pizza is all that good, I love the chef salad that comes with a slice of garlic toast! Ask for cheese on it. Considering the portion size… I think it’s really reasonably priced.

Mediocre pizza at exceptional pizza prices. One of the pizzas we got was smothered in bacon bits and thus«ok» due to the massive fat and salt infusion, but the other was just blah. Crust, sauce, cheese… hitting the basics and not much else. The tomato slices were artfully arranged. The wings are truly awful; the cheapest frozen commercial product available. Fatty, globular, flavorful in the way of Kraft salad dressing and again, too dang expensive for what you get and they forgot to pack the stupid blue cheese to boot! The best reason to order pizza here is that they’re safe for those with tree nut allergies. This was awesome when we needed it, but it was an awesomeness born of desperation.

I’ve grown up with this place. The garlic bread is the best i have ever had! Order it! The pizza is always great! Lots of topping options, even anchovies last I checked(please don’t do that to yourself)! Go here if you want a fresh local pizza! Parking can be tricky at times, small lot. The service is lacking some nights. I shouldn’t have to fight for attention to get a drink refill, which i’m sad to say has happened on occasion. The price might be a little high, especially for the salad. I go back time and again because the pizza really is quality!

Whatever happened to all the good family pizza places where you could go in, sit down and actually be served pizza? It seems as if now they are all pick up your pizza and get the eff outta here kinda joints. Not Litzas. You can feed a family of five for about $ 30 with their family meal which includes a pitcher of soda, large pizza, salad and garlic bread(pretty much Texas toast.) is it the best pizza I’ve ever had? No, but like I said a good sit down pizza place with some pretty decent pizza and for a great deal. Even if you’re not Mormon but just have a lot of kids, like me ;) The place could definitely use a makeover however. It’s decorated the way that an old white person would imagine all Italian restaurants look like. Stucco and roman columns and poorly painted«I-talian» murals on the walls. It looks like something that you would see on kitchen nightmares, but they are always busy, so they must be doing alright. But again, this isn’t a place we go for the ambience. The pizza and the price is right and it’s one of the few places we don’t have to tell the kids to be quiet every 5 seconds. But kind of a bummer that it is closed on Sundays. Apparently it is Utah state law that you can’t eat good food on Sundays.

I am really torn about what sort of review to leave. If you are dining in… I would give this place 4 stars. Their pizza and garlic bread are totally delicious! However, this time I decided to do the«Take & Bake», and also ordered a side of garlic bread. The pizza had to be prepared at home(obviously), but Litza’s cooked the garlic bread. I thought the pizza was mediocre and not like the pizza served in their restaurant. And because the garlic bread was made ahead of time — by the time we were finished cooking the pizza, the garlic bread was soggy and chewy. I don’t think I will do the«Take & Bake» thingee again. But I would definitely eat in their restaurant again.
