Granary Row is a good time. Lots of unique pop-up shops, fun live music, good food carts, and a biergarten serving Uinta beer. It’s a perfect place to kick back with friends, enjoy warm summer nights and good conversation.

Very underwhelming. Two food trucks with okay service and food. We were there earlier in the night and pretty much no one was there. Uinta Beer just okay. Really cool idea, potential for a really cool atmosphere but just okay in reality. People were friendly enough and maybe it’s more fun later in the evening but was not super impressed.

TLDR: There are plenty of other places to congregate al fresco with better food and better service. I hate to give this place one star. But it’s so not what it could be. Not enough food trucks, sold out of food by 8p. They’re letting cars drive through the road now so that’s a little uncomfortable. The most disturbing thing however is the customer service of «Garboes Group Inc.» who apparently runs/manages Granary Row. When purchasing a drink I expected to use my debit card because I saw them using Square to accept payments. After I ordered the bar back took my card, but then right before swiping it said«There’s a dollar fee for using a cc. Is that OK?» I said fine though I thought it was a little steep, and there was a little banter about how I should have brought cash to a «festiva.l» Then after swiping she said«How about a tip?» Uh… Ok. I know how to use the machine, but whatever. So I told her an appropriate amount for 2 pours. The whole experience was generally off-putting so when I got my email receipt I took a moment to take the survey that they asked me if I wanted to take. Their response is catastrophic. Here’s the exchange: Me: «dollar charge on all cc transactions? Robbery. 3% is reasonable 10% is not. Also, terrible service. Girls were rude and hustling for tips.» Garboes Group: «Who were the the rude girls? You can pay cash free of charge. You are not forced to use Credit Cards. $ 1 is very common for ATMTRANS and is actually more than $ 1 at most locations and banks. I would suggest cash next time to avoid fees.» Square is hardly an ATM. I doubt they would’ve given me cash back. At any rate, this place could be a lot cooler, but it really falls flat on it’s face. Maybe it’d be more fun if we brought a backpack full of our own bevs.

A stellar pop-up in the middle of the street with a bunch of funky shops built into shipping containers, local food trucks, awesome live music, and a neat Biergarten. Granary Row is a great place to sit outside on a nice summer night, enjoy some great tunes, and grab a beer with some friends.

Love this place, it’s very laid back and a good time. I usually bike here every Friday, they’ve got bike parking and its downtown so you all should bike!!! The beer garden uinta has setup is a very nice touch… You can drink beer and order food from many local food trucks that show up in this area.(Bento, blue bistro, Greek food, tacos, even salads!!) the animal shelter is here a lot, lits of good music and bands, and other great local stores. Get out there take a bike ride, keep our city clean, and enjoy what our slc locals have to share with you :)

Cutest date night ever! holy cow so many things compacted into one great evening. So many things to look at, listen to, buy, eat. Love the sit down area, it’s made of pallet boards and is just so night after the fair vibes.

I quite enjoy local gatherings, and vendors alike trying to make a name for themselves — and I feel Utah does a pretty good job of doing such things. Perks: –A covered patio for our adult beverages — they were $ 5 a cup, and one of the beers(forgive me, I cannot remember the name) was a wheat beer created for a disease which I was told 100% of the proceeds go directly to the charitable fund. –Local artists playing — the band playing on Friday was not bad! –Local shops with different sorts of items ranging from jewelry, art, clothing, household goods, and GASP! children’s clothes. –They have an entire wall of one of the rail cars covered in plants, I will upload a picture, but beware it was dark so it is not the best. –The food trucks smelt great, however, I did not try them this time around, I will try them next time I go — I will be sure to update my post on the food alone when I am able to try it! –There was plenty of seating and we did not have a hard time finding parking. Things I am weary of: –Why must we try and sell our local items for such high prices? I loved the space-printed throw pillows, call me a nerd, but am I willing to spend $ 45 on a throw pillow? No — not even if you just made it… I am so sorry. –Everything was cash only, which was my fear. They do however have an ATM machine, but it was located in the adult section — so just bring cash. –They did have children’s clothing in one of the shops, but they were only for girls… sigh, I only have a boy. Overall, I think this is a really great idea and I plan on attending again. I hope to see them get more business, and are able to continue on in this adventure for years to come!

We rode our bikes here last Friday. There is plenty of bike parking at Granary Row. From the cute little shops to the variety of food options from the street food vendors and the awesome beer garden, we were in heaven. Where else can you find a beer garden with live music in SLC? And not to mention, there’s no cover so it can be a cheap date night. We loved listening to the band, trying out a few food carts, and having beers in the trendy Granary Row. We will definitely be back!
