It’s an O’Charley’s. The food was prepared well and the service was normal. I got the chicken fingers and a side salad. My friend got a Cobb salad. Everything was tasty. I think they need to do a really good cleaning in there, though. Everything just seems a bit grimy and the bathrooms were not very clean with broken door catches and toilet paper dispensers.

We were invited here for lunch while in town so of course we went. I haven’t seen any of these restaurants in PA for the most part most of the chain restaurants are the same. Thought our waitress was terrific but then again I’m partial to southern hospitality. The food was brought to the table quickly, it was prepared well and it tasted pretty good. So nothing negative there. Prices are reasonable as well. Biggest problem for me was that the restaurant has no wi-fi! What’s that about? So if you like internet with your meal time this is not the place for you.

I ended up here by accident, but decided to give it a try anyways. I came in for lunch while on the way south. This restaurant is not local to where I live. First, the atmosphere is much like a pub with a bar and dining room area. It wasn’t too crowded either, maybe because it was lunch. After reading some if the reviews, I was a bit nervous, but the last review was over a year ago. I was seated quickly and the server was attentive. The bread is delicious. I had the BLT lunch combo with fries. The only thing that wasn’t as expected was the BLT sandwich. I wasn’t expecting it to be loaded with mayo. I just took a bunch of it off. The food was okay, but there was no wow factor. For these reasons, I gave this location two stars. As the two star rating says, I’ve had better. Would I come back again? Maybe, but it wouldn’t be close to my first choice if I was in the area again.

The service sucks. Just plain sucks. We waited for at least five minutes for someone to take us to our table. That should have been the first sign, we should have walked out then. Apparently they don’t make enough to hire hostesses, because one of the two servers in the entire restaurant just happened to walk by and see us. We waited another five minutes to even be acknowledged by the other server. There were only three tables being used, there was no excuse for us to have to wait that long! After that, it took FOREVER to take our food order. She took our drink order, then didn’t even ask if we were ready to order when she brought our drinks. We were there probably 20 minutes before she even took our food order. I can’t complain about the food, it was good. But they brought out the appetizer and the salads at the exact same time, so we had to eat both of them at once. The food is good, but very generic. Their menu is tiny and boring, but what can you really expect from a national chain? The service has been consistently bad, and I know we won’t be going back, ever. There are much better places in Salisbury like Outback and Longhorn. They should hire more servers or just close, because it’s unacceptable.

Will not go back to this restaurant… nothing really stood out as «bad», but the entire place felt kind of mediocre. Food was okay, but the whole restaurant just doesn’t feel clean or well kept. It’s like a Chili’s or Applebee’s that hasn’t been updated in about a decade. One bright note is the service is pretty good… the waiters and manager were very attentive and courteous.

Food was good, service was good, we got seated fast. All in all it was a good experience.

Well… Does anyone ever taste the food? I try and stay away from chains as much as possible but, its nearly impossible where there is a interstate there is chain food and in a small place as Salisbury is whats your choice but, to travel somewhere to dine or suffer threw it. O, Charley s as many chains it seems are doing anything they can to get the diners in the door. For example grilled chicken at KFC the Colonel is rolling in his grave. Or fish sandwiches at Bojangles what? YUK I think Wendys has them now poor Dave Thomas. I guess it matters not since Dave died the family sold out most of it. I would have to say I have tried different things there. Like their high priced apps to make money 8 dollar chips and Salsa what!!! I though Mexican restaurants give that away?. The last time I ate there it was a take out just a salad please. It was called the black and blue salad blackened steak that was paper thin 1 inch by 1 inch 2 pieces WOW ! And Blue cheese all over everything OK well sounds OK if their was any meat but, think about it Blue cheese as does many cheeses have a high salt content and what does that do to salad? A mush Hello wake up !! they could have just as easily put it in a separate container but, damm that would cost another 1⁄10 of 1 cent ! Did I call the place yes the thing is what do you do for dinner? Well there is my fav Chinese that delivers yes its a chain a small one…

I’m not usually much for national chains, and this is one example of why. The food here was okay, but the service was lousy. It seemed like it took forever to get anything. I had a chicken sandwich, and it was, well, a chicken sandwich. Nothing special about it whatsoever. I just have a hard time understanding why so many of these«family dining» places can pop up all over the country with such bland food. I guess it’s better than fast food, but not by much.
