Bob Evans Restaurant

Delicious breakfast, orange juice and iced tea. Karen, our Server was efficient, attentive, and pleasant.

I wish I could give Bob Evans zero stars. I had the worst experience there tonight, and I will never step foot in a Bob Evans ever again. After ordering and waiting 45 minutes for our food, we were left with empty drinks and absolutely no food. We watched table after table get food before us when they were seated after us, and the food that we saw appear out of the kitchen after 10 minutes of ordering was in fact our food that had never been delivered to us and just sat under the heat lamps. The one manager on staff took our order and never brought us our rolls/​biscuits or salads before our food was ready, and then our food sat there and turned inedible. When we complained to the one waitress who we only saw 10 minutes after being seated to bring us silverware, she said she would immediately get our food and yet went to serve others. When I finally had the manager brought back over, two out of four people had the food they ordered and it was no longer good enough for human consumption. The fact that the staff thought the food would still be good was sad. I would never serve someone food with such low quality. The eggs were hard, cold, and overcooked. The bacon (which the waitress dropped onto the table and didn’t bother to apologize for or replace) was scorched. The pot roast dish was just a pile of mush. When another dish was brought out, it looked like something I wouldn’t even feed my dog. There was no side dish, which the manager claimed it did not even come with, and it was also accompanied by the wrong dessert. And again, we never received the salads or bread that came with our three course meal? Not to mention I never received any of my food before the manager tried to just compensate for this terrible experience by just saying he would take the cost of the salads off of our bill. I am literally disgusted with the quality of service and the quality of the food that we were attempted to be served. This was a waste of my night, and I will gladly never go to a Bob Evans again.

Went out for breakfast for my sister in laws birthday and was highly disappointed. Ordered the classic breakfast with turkey sausage and 2 others with bacon. Received bacon on all dishes and one only had a single strip of bacon. Returned mine for the turkey sausage and came back cold and missing another side I had ordered. When we received the check we had been over charged and spoke to the manager all the while our waitress was arguing with us and walked away mumbling rude comments. Needless to say we will not return.

Had asked for coffee and breakfast. The coffee cup given to me had lipstick on the rim. Asked for a new cup and she returned with the same cup. I know this because the lipstick was now smeared! Needless to say I didn’t have any coffee.

For what Salisbury has to offer in a good solid breakfast/​brunch, Bob Evans is just about the best. They always provide a good olé belly filling feast. They’re always friendly, the place is clean, and I love that they have a variety of meal choices. From their «down on the farm» eggs, bacon, toast, & pancakes, to the speciality skillets and yummy crapes. BE’s consistency has us coming back over & over.

Very good place for breakfast. Has a ton of selections. Coffee is pretty decent and the prices are great so you can bring the while family. The food comes out fairly quick and I’ve noticed that everyone is very pleasant. Never a bad experience.

Stopping through on our way south, my wife, 2 year kid and myself had a completely reasonable time at Bob Evans. The food was as fat laden and starch based as you’d expect. The dining experience was pleasant and the wait staff friendly. I walked in expecting the horror story in one of the other reviews and walked out satisfied with my roadside stop choice. You could do worse.

The food that we had was definitely NOT worth what we paid. You expect veggies to be in your veggie omelet, but it was lacking all of that except for a few tomatoes and some diced onions. The service was fair, and our server deserves the only star that I’m giving for this review. The restrooms were dirty with no toilet paper or paper towels. I hate that we wasted our money. I definitely would not recommend this place if you’re expecting a nice breakfast in a good asmosphere.

Anyways, this place was a nightmare. To start off we have never been here and we were passing through on our way out of Ocean city. It’s a chain breakfast place so I expected lackluster food at worse… I was WRONG! We were seated and our waiter seemed frazzled but got our drinks and everything seemed fine. He took our order and that’s where it began. In the long stretch of time it took for our order to come my boyfriend and I watched this place crumble.
The waiters were all arguing with each other and also complaining to the customers. Appearantly they were stealing each others food. Then that made all the waiters stand up at the food window waiting for their food, doing nothing. That meant us and everyone else were left with no refills and no waiters to help. People began walking out. We would have also but we had a hungry 2 year old so we figured how much worse could it be? I don’t mind noise but when the noise is just a bunch of disgruntled waiters/​waitresses screaming at each other and complaining to customers. We ended up going about 45 minutes before we saw our waiter again. He did apologize and gave us a speech about how the cooks were screwing up. Out food was wrong but we just ended up eating it. It was only a little wrong and we just wanted out of this place. The food was terrible and they barely gave us any. usually you gt very large portions with breakfast but these were about half of what I am used to. The bacon was salty and greasy, the pancakes were flavorless and the eggs were watery and bland. Even the coffee tasted burnt. We than had to wait about another 30 minutes for our check because our waiter was watching the food window like a hawk and dealing with people complaining.
I should add that this location was filled with very grumpy senior citizens. Im talking down right rude. My son was very well behaved but began getting frustrated when we were done eating yet still waiting. A couple sitting across from us kept talking about OUR SON saying we should «Do something «to him… Did they mean hit him like they did in their day? Who knows. Then when we told our son we had to wait he said «NO, we have to go Bye Bye» The woman then yelled at my son «SHUT UP!!» And the husband laughed… are you kidding me? Then While I was standing in line to pay the check 2 separate groups of older people were happy to see us leaving with our son… not sure if other people have had that experience here or not but it happened I will never ever come back here

It was okay. Nothing special. Much prefer Dennys, or better still, Double T Diners.

Ate at a few Bob Evans’ on vacation, and really enjoyed it! Really nice servers, pretty quick for the most part. As a northerner, found out that I LOVE biscuits and sausage gravy! Also liked the crepes despite sauce that was a little too much like jelly for my taste. Recommended if you can’t find a reliable or close local diner while travelling.

I wanted to change up my usual Sunday brunch routine. Variety is the spice of life after all.
The service was excellent. the food was very prompt in delivery. And they have excellent turkey sausage. This is good for me because I don’t partake in the pork. Besides, I’m easy to please; all I wanted was the pancakes!
Overall, this is a good change out from my usual routine.

Service can be hit or miss. BUT for the most part the food here is good… the coffee is strong and the banana bread is GREAT!
The children’s menu has some GREAT choices! I feel it’s one of the better establishments when it comes to kids!
The baked potato soup is yummy, the salads are just ok. Breakfast has some very unhealthy choices but they do have a healthy section on the menu. My husband really enjoys the sausage and I the bacon.
A favorite sandwich of mine is the Turkey Bacon melt! YUM. Also, you have your choice of over 10 sides!!!
