As Chinese Buffet’s go, this is really one of the better ones. Honey chicken was sublime

Great service. Wide selection of food. Sushi is sub par, but for having it in the middle of the continent I applaud the effort. Seems like a popular place, as it was fairly packed when my family went.

This place is not bad for lunch, if you like the typical Americanized chinese food buffet. They do have a considerable number of different types of chicken dishes, some that I have never heard or seen before. Some notable chicken dishes were the coral chicken, Japanese chicken, chicken on skewers, sesame chicken, etc. If Bubba would’ve eaten here, he would have talked to Forest Gump about chicken instead of shrimp. I haven’t been to the evening dinner so I can’t say anything about the sushi.

The food was rather good. Great selection of meats, veggies, and sushi. There’s about 60 different items to choose from. Though, some of the more spicier food are not marked and I found that out the hard way. They should put signs up for spicy food. The interior décor is intricately designed and quite gorgeous. Aside from the spicy food, my only other complaint is temperature inside the building. It’s very warm, well over 80 degrees.

Timing is everything. Go at noon, or 5 – 6 pm, yes it will be decent. Any other inbetween times, and it can be very, very bad! I’m not just talking about mushy, or dried out, overheated food. I’m talking about unidentifiable ingredients, like chicken that is NOT chicken. From what the manager demands from other restaurants, he sure doesn’t provide the same level to his customers.

Very awesome with the selection and quality. Only thing is I wish they had better sushi at the evening buffet.

Restaurant is very clean and the servers friendly but the food was mediocre. This place not any different than other Chinese restaurant in other city. Don’t expect anything different.

Great service. If you haven’t had Chinese food in the Midwest, know that it sucks. It’s manufactured solely to appeal to your average overweight middle American. On the spectrum of couldn’t eat this — to that’s on par with a mid grade little china shop in the Bay Area. This place is pretty high up. They’re using fresh ingredients, toned down the MSG, and have a good variety. Dumplings were passable, egg rolls were actually hand made and quite acceptable. I would eat here again.

My family has made this one of our regular stops each month, easy to get into, buffet style, reasonably priced. So, you would think I would give this rave reviews? Ive noticed a disturbing change in the last few months, dirty slick tile floors, you really have to watch where you are walking. The bins are not being refilled as fast or not at all, when you have a line of people coming through, this is not good. I was recently there with my wife and went to my favorites and they were empty, so I went on. I came back 10 – 15 later… still empty. For the very first time I said something to our waitress and she did tell someone, actually, it looked as if they were not getting along at all with the hand gestures that was happening. I was disgusted and finished my meal and actually went by one more time and to my amazement, they were still empty!!! I did tell the front desk of my concern and that we were regulars, and she said we should have told them first and that some of the help doesn’t speak english. I told her that I understand, but that was still not a good thing that happened. I also told her that when they do refill the food bins that they are not careful with the hot bins and the hot water underneath. A month ago we were in there and the young lady refiling one bin just plopped in the bin hole and the hot water came up and splashed some people on their arms. That is really hot water to keep the food hot, the reactions were like.“REALLYDIDYOUJUSTDOTHAT”? The young lady didnt say a word and just keep walking and working. Don’t get me wrong, this is a very popular place, but I just see many problems starting to pop up at this location. Maybe the management needs to take a hard look at the way their floors remain dry at all times and how their help functions around the paying customer. I have had no problems with the help that gets your drinks and assists you, they are very polite. I do not wish this establishment to go down the tubes, if I have these concerns, then there are others who probably have already quit coming back. It may be a while until we go back, maybe in two months this time, I hear there is a new oriental restaurant in a nearby town!!!

Not a very diverse selection of food. The tastes were ok, and the staff friendly, but I found myself very disappointed, especially given the price. Should have hit the BBQ joint next door…

I eat here every time I am home!!! I love this place I crave it all the time. Coral chicken, black pepper chicken, crab rangoon with acutal crab in it and not just cream cheese. TONS of choices. Not to mention Mongolian grill in the middle If they dont have food you like in the buffet. Custom build your own dish.

I got to this place at about 8:50 on a Sunday, they were already tearing down the buffet and Mongolian BBQ, which pisses me off because if your hours say you close at 9:30, STAYOPENUNTIL9:30!!! I don’t have a lot of options when it comes to parking a big rig, so I was kinda stuck with what they had left. I did manage to get the Mongolian BBQ chef to cook me a plate back in the kitchen, so I did at least get some dinner. Folks, it’s real simple: stay open until your posted closing time. Don’t start dismantling everything and running the vacuum next to my table while I’m eating, because I don’t want dust all over my food. I know I’m taking my chances getting to a buffet when it’s close to closing time, but these guys were REALLY pushing the envelope. I wish I had Unilocaled this place before landing the rig here, because truck-stop food would have been better than this. The review about the rubber bands in the food simultaneously made me laugh and want to vomit. Big-time FAIL.

Great food and service. Buffet always full and glass never empty. Food is much fresher than most buffets.

Eat there quite a bit and always a good crowd. I like the chicken, shrimp, and the beef and brocoli. But they have much more too.

My husband has eaten here once with me and my family during one of our visits to Salina. If I could rate it just in terms of effort and being nice people, then it’d get a 4. But I’m rating based on taste. Usually there have been good crowds when I’ve eaten here. My folks seems to like it. The buffet is extensive, and when the seafood is out, that could be a good deal. The mussels I had weren’t too bad. But in comparison to good Chinese food in America(especially the San Fran Bay area), it’s not quite up to snuff. If all you’ve known is American-Chinese food in small mid-Western cities, it’s OK.

I always like the food here, until one day of takeout at work yielded a rubber-band in my meal. Decent food AND free office supplies with your meal!
