Solar Eclipse Tanning

Don’t get me wrong… I have always liked this place. Over the past year or so they have pretty much switched over to only high powered beds, resulting in VERY expensive packages and VERY high co pays.
This place is always busy no matter what time of year, but most of the time you can get a bed right away without an appointment. Because of their new prices, I have been forced to switch.
I go to Electric Beach on Canal Street now, and you get much more for your money.

This is BY FAR the best tanning salon I have EVER been to. When I lived in the area, it’s conveniently located off of Route 114 and is so utterly fantastic.
They have a small parking lot and a gift shop occupying the lower level which sells anything from cute locally made swarowski crystal necklaces to candles and giftcards. The employees know what they’re selling and are easily able to recommend you a wide variety of products depending on what sort of tan you’d like to achieve. The booths are varied as they offer a number of different services including mystic spray tans and high intensity beds and booths. The rooms with beds accomodate you with a little pillow and a boombox that you can set to your liking, and are equipped with mints, deoderant, etc. There are also stacks of fresh towels for drying off or wiping up excess lotion and a water cooler and waiting room with a television in case you’re there during rush hour. No real need to call ahead, unless you’re terribly particular about what room/​bed you’d like.
