The Tacos al Carbon was good, so much food! A little pricey but worth it! The service was nice, they made sure I was always happy and they are crazy fast.

Service was great even on a busy night. Waitress was very helpful with our choice of meals. Their salsa is the best I’ve tasted in a long time. Cane Asada was excellent. Margaritas were great. The homemade tortillas where to die for… didn’t mind at all that the flour tortillas were on the thin side the taste was unbelievably good! The only complaint I have is their carnitas where a bit dry and my son ordered the steak medium and it was very well done… but he enjoyed the chips, beans and French fries. We will definitely go again when we are in Salem!

Next time we’re in Salem we will be eating here again. The service is amazing. Our waitress was so thoughtfull, friendly and polite! We were seated right away and our drinks came within 2 minutes. Our food was amazingly fast and it was delicious. I recommend this restaurant for anyone into a low-​key Mexician dining experience.

Great starters: bean dip, salsa, fresh chips. Our meals were very filling and reasonably priced. Cheese dip wasn’t all that great, it began to solidify after about 5 minutes of being set on the table. Aside from that, the service was great, food was delicious, and would definitely come back for he fresh tortillas.

We go here often with a friend of ours because it is close to her house and it was one of her husband’s favorite places to go, but after this visit I really think it is time to find someplace new to go. The service was ok, but they brought me the wrong entrée not ince, but twice. The second time I just ate what they brought as the others in my party were almost done eating by the time mine arrived. That said, it was not a meal to write home about… definitely time to take a break from this one.

Big menu. We loved the Pollo Verde, which is pretty hot for gringos. The mole was disappointing, trying to be a mole poblano but not getting there. One note, no complexity. Fast service and cute décor. Decent.

La Hacienda is the gold standard for Mexican food in Salem. The carne asada well done haunts me. I think about it more than I should. Just the smell of it with the tortillas takes me to a place of sublime pleasure. I am smiling right now thinking about it.

I can’t say enough about customer service! It goes a long way and they know that here. The food is appetizing and has me coming back certai. Items that left an impression! The place is clean and cozy in its unique way! Service is excellent and that’s why me and my family have been here more than a handful of times!

I arrived here after a disappointing experience at another Mexican restaurant near by, and was greeted right away, and seated within a reasonable amount of time. Chips and salsa right away, and I did order a drink. The food was exceptionally great, service needs a little bit more. My waitress was there to bring my drink and she didn’t return until she picked up my plate. Over all this place is Great, and I’ll give a 4. You will enjoy the place along with the atmosphere and staff.

La hacienda is my favorite restaurant, but this location specifically I have yet to have a good experience… And the last time my boyfriend and I ate here we were both bed ridden for three days with high fever and constant vomiting and stomach ache. Will not be visiting again.

They were very quick to serve, we ordered a margarita and within 2 minutes the waitress was back at our table, handing it to us, and this was during the dinner rush. Our food also was served relatively quick, within 15 minutes.
They serve chips with salsa and also refried beans and this Spanish cabbage salsa type thing, it was great!
I would definitely recommend this place and I will be back

I had chicken & steak fajitas with flour tortillas. Wait staff was incredibly efficient and friendly. My food was so piping hot & smelled soo good that I burned my tongue a little.
Other than that — I enjoyed my meal here immensely. Will I come back? Absolutely!

My husband and our son took me here for my Birthday. And the food was great. Had to bring some home. Real authtic Mexican Food. this was the best. not to expensive and very clean and nice waitress. They made our first time dinning there a great experience. And there Desert was very great also. Thank you for the awsome food.

The Lancaster location is the newest to the Salem area. The food here is exceptional and they keep their facility very clean. Even down to the lime that dressed my beer. They say that limes are the dirtiest thing in a restaurant, well not at La Hacienda!

Hand’s down the best mexican food in Salem. tried this «new» location for the first time the other day. Friendly staff, although she did screw up a few things. Went at lunch time, and food was served in under 15 minutes or so.

Monterrey Camerones (bacon wrapped shrimp) served fajita style is delicious. I love this newer location and they did a great job remodeling the building. Service is prompt and courteous. Nice Mexican-​American restaurant.
