Domestic Divas

We contacted the Divas to clean our home before a party. The price was just as quoted. They were earlier than planned but contacted us in advance to confirm it was ok. The work was quick and efficient and was exceptionally well done. The price was more than fair for four people to clean for more than two hours (it’s a big house).
Not only would I recommend them, we will almost certainly begin using them on an ongoing basis.

We were looking for a cleaning company to clean our house that we moved out of and are turning into a rental. We needed a company to wash down walls and windows and clean the kitchen. I contacted Domestic Divas because I had heard of them before from seeing the ladies drive around and in a store once. I thought they looked professional. I hadn’t heard any reviews and so I checked out their website and it said they now offer rental cleanings. I thought that was perfect since that’s what we needed! I emailed them and they got back to me with a ballpark quote pretty quickly, which I liked. Then they asked to come by to give us a better estimate. I was hesitant because we weren’t all of the way moved out and the time they wanted to come I would be gone but my husband would be there. When I got there after the estimate my husband said they quoted almost $ 100 more and made a comment about referring us to someone more «our style» and they would email me later.
Personally, I’m offended by the comment. Our house is no different than anyone else moving out of a rental. They are dirty, that’s why we called someone to clean. Frankly, I feel the comment was rude and unnecessary. On top of that we never got the email they promised to send me.
Bad business practices in my opinion and I’ll be sure to let my friends and family know to steer clear of Domestic Divas for their home cleaning needs.
